Randy was and is still one of San Antonios great treasures. You would have to have a whole in Your Soul if You did not here the passion and LOVE for our (his) culture. I know he is in Heaven with our brothers and sisters that have gone before us. His expression of art was so unique. I hope some young talent that he touched with his music can carry the torch into the future. Thanks Randy for The Love......

They played one of his on the radio today in town. May he rest in Peace. Hey they sign on the Flores cafe place, says Barbacoa & Big Red, i wonder if they did that cause of the song? Ill have to take a pic. Nice post BTW! Nice to see him here on YT. I see the website no longer works.
I gave a copy of Randy's Barbacoa Blues to the proprietor of Tommie's Restaurant on Nogalitos. The owner is Oralia Salame. I was cursing in San Anto and ate there. She didn't know about Randy's song mentioning Nogalitos St. She later put Barbacoa and Big Red on her sign. She opened another restaurant in downtown San Anto on Flores St. James Gino Reza, amigo de Randy, musician and am from El Foro, Fort Worth, Texas.
