Equisite song. Never heard this version with Mama Cass on vocals before She really does it justice (as one would logically expect from an artist of her quality). Her voice has a lovely rich timbre and a deep heartfelt quality to it. Love the photo of the wonderful Zal Yanovsky whose guitar solo on this differs from the Spoonful's version - its much longer and even better !

It is such a treat to hear this for the fiirst time. Many thanks for posting it.

Is this a back-up vocal w/ the lead vocals cut out? Amazing how it sounds so good and complete that it could be the lead. What a pro! Cass sounded best when she just sang naturally (like this) without trying to sound legit.
