  • this dude said "nice fruity beer"..... what a fag

  • i dont know why i am watching this lol(:

  • Same here....

  • Why do so many guys take pride in a sedentary lifestyle just drinking beer and boasting about how shit their wives are?

  • well....when you have kids someday you will understand. I have 2 toddlers n a baby n it's so nice to juss chill out once in a while.

  • don't be mean to your kid...

  • when i lived in belgium the local belgian people told me i don't NEED sun screen there, only when i go on vacation in the summer. i fell for it!:( the next spring i laid out on our back deck for an hour front and back. i was so red!! so i put vinagar soaked cucumber slices on myself, and my husband took a picture!! when we moved, that foto some how surfaced, and was handed around to my friends and family!!! in conclusion, cucumber slices soaked in vinagar placed on the burn helps heal it:)

  • peopel like me that think dark skind peopel dont get sunburn, take my advice they do. my skin color is like carmel , and im like redish all over my nose forhead and sholders and it friggin hurts.

u no ther ligter yor skin tone the more sun beams are reflected off of you and you get bured. sooo yea.....

  • well. I never catch sun burn cause i'm black so. uh.... bye.

  • you don't catch a sun burn, it's not a pathogen. god

  • Thanks! In a total unsexual and ungay way.

  • what do you mean by that

  • get a drink or snack lmfao hes got pretty eyes in a tottle unsexual or ungay way

  • oooooooh... the story about the fat kid is sad... nonetheless, this guy is my favorite "dad" :)

  • I just got a sunburn yesterday.

Honestly, when they say prevention is the best cure, you should listen.

The left side of my face was the side that really got hit. It's swelled now and I can barely see out of my left eye because of the surrounding swelling. Luckily no direct damage to eyes, since I have pronounced eyebrow ridges.

Not too many blisters, thankfully. My skin is dry as heck though. But in the end the worst part about this is psychological. Looking in the mirror hurts me, inside.

  • Growing up in Texas 40 years ago, the blister burn was a time-honored part of our blue-eyed family's springtime ritual. I have fond memories of my mom showing me how to make a strapless blouse to avoid irritating my badly blistered shoulders. Such different times-- wish I'd had some clue about the permanent skin damage we were all incurring!

  • Hey... another tip for everyone... you guys have cell phones, right? Set the alarm on your cell phone for when it's time to reapply... and make sure it's not just on vibrate!

Oh, and don't forget your lips... get a lip balm/gloss with an SPF 15 or higher to help protect your lips. My fav is the banana boat lip balm with spf protection because they have the highest spf of 30.

Also, don't forget to stay hydrated... WATER, WATER, and more WATER!

  • Love the cell phone hack. We just equate going into the cooler with getting more sunscreen. They're in that thing pretty regularly.

  • That works for the older kids.. but my daughter is a total fish... she wouldn't come out of the ocean for anything other than me dragging her out with the threat of sunburn.... or to go potty.

  • My son had very sensitive skin when he was a child. He was burnt so bad one time that he got blisters the size of grapes on his shoulders. And he was under a tree! So even with shade some parents still have to be careful!

That aluminum coated umbrella looks like it would help. I have 8 grandkids now and all love to swim!

Thanks for letting me tell my story! And enter your contest!

Good luck to everyone who enters!

    Helives!

  • Make sure to put the sunscreen between the toes, too!

  • Put it on their eyeballs too!

  • No, I have contacts and it would make it impossible to see for me.

but seriously... I've gotten burned between my toes... it's not fun...

  • Really, the whole sunscreen and beach thing is just a major pain all around. My best advice is to fein indigestion and let the wife deal with the whole thing by herself ;)

  • Make sure you put sunscreen on the tops of their feet!

  • the coloured sun screen are the way to go. it turns clear as you rub it in and it helps you see where you applyed it so you dont miss any spots. i use the spray on kind on my daughters hair yeah shes greasy but shes blond and doesnt like to wear hats. besides after a day in a pool full of choloreen or a sandy day at the beach she needs a bath any ways.

if you do get a burn though use bakeing soda in the tub to kill the sting

  • if you get a burn, you use liberal amounts of apple cider vinegar on it... even bad burns will be gone in a couple days... much less pain and suffering.

  • Okay. Apple Cider Vinegar. Got it. Will Wishbone Bold Italian also work? We've got plenty of that.

  • lol... no.

But seriously... I didn't believe it when my mil told me, but found out (and loved it), when I tried it, that it worked the summer that I stupidly went to the beach, lathered up the kids, and forgot myself and wound up burned on all the areas that had not seen the sun yet that year... my back was as red as a lobster.

  • @KatMomof3 YOu serious? I think your kidding.

  • wow I am going to have nothing at all to give as a tip. I don't sunburn and never have.

My son seems to have my skin also. He has never had a sunburn and

we don't use sunscreen and never have. Not even when we were in

Galveston at the hotel pool and the beach. He didn't burn. All summer here at home

he has lived in 'kiddie pools' since he was about 3 and never burned.

  • Those kids glasses are so you! I always cover my daughter before going out and I bring along that cool spray sunscreen to reaply on her because it's fast and you don't get it all over your hands..

    Wendy

  • Okay, I went out this weekend, and got the sunscreen on the kid, but forgot to put some on myself. Nice. Sunburned for sunburn week. I'll do ANYTHING for this show.

  • Man I can't even survive the beach thanks for the tips!

  • Register me for my twin nephews, please?

I don't have any horror stories yet!

  • Hairless cats? HAHAHAHA nice one..
