Len's not a fan of gimmicks, fine. But this one was limited...other can do limited and he's ok; it's like he doesn't want Dmya doing any. At all. Period--and that's not fair.

His obvious biased against Dmya is almost laughably sad at this point...I think he's doing it to gain fans and ensure she's the winner (hey, it's about time we have a black female since they screwed up with Mel B.).

Len is a jackass. I saw the video of Joanna and Maks dancing the tango. She spent time putting on his jacket (neither were dancing) and then she kicked him to the floor. Len never mentioned anything about "unnecessary bits" to them.He gave them an 8. At least Mya was dancing behind the silhouette. Len is a crackhead.

Okay, Derek does make the most of Joanna's limitations. His choice of music and his choreography are excellent. But take a look once again at Joanna's performance. Her split was not good and she had to come back up using one leg first, it looked awkward to me. Then she had that move where she jerked one leg up as though someone hit her in the stomach, it was laughable. And she tripped. Yet... Len gave her a 9. Whaaat? Although Derek is a fantastic dancer and choreographer there is no doubt...

sunsolseven: I couldnt agree with you more about Joanna, having to use the "yoga:warrior 2" stance to get out of the split & also the "spasmic inward knee jerk" move that she used repetitively! Do you remember the group dance-off where they did a Latin dance? Derek & Joanna won despite the fact that she looked like a rag doll with her arms flailing in the air while her upper body was lying on Derek's bent thigh! That is the beauty of Derek's choreography, he is a genius!

I don't agree with you (elfbeba) about Dmitry not getting enough from Mya. You can't compare Dmitry and Derek because they have different personalities. I do think that Dmitry's choreographies are amazing and challenging and he gives a damm of what len thinks, he just want to give us a good show. Mya looks very sexy and classy in all the dance numbers they do. Prove of that is that almost everybody likes D-Mya dances but Len, he is the one with the problem, not Dmitry, he is a real proffesional

Dimitry may be an amazing choreographer but the technicalities of his choreography may not appeal to the masses. Len is just an old fuddy duddy. He doesn't like Dimitry's choreography because it's not just a straight traditional boring dance with basic moves. It usually has some character to play and is way more artistic. He used to dance and choreographed for So You Think You Can Dance and is and won an Emmy. How can he dock them for "gimmicks" when he doesn't dock others for "not dancing".

Joanna Krupa is such a bitch. She didn't applaud Mya and Dmitry when they entered the room, when they received their final score and when they were called safe. I could swear that I saw Joanna wave goodbye to Mya when Mya was tapped out. I have a feeling that when Joanna is voted out, she will use her twitter to attack Mya just like she is using it to constantly attack T.O. I won't even talk about how she tried to sabotage Mya on twitter. Let's get Joanna out of the competition!

Hey it all worked out in the end because Joanna got voted off because people finally realized that she can't dance and it was Derek's brilliant choreography that was doing the freaking trick. When Joanna was eliminated you could look on her face and tell she was pissed, she didn't dance her final dance worth a darn and that's the actions of a sore loser.

Team Dmya's foxtrot was lovely! I do not understand Len. He needs to be consistent in his judging! The other couples do tricks and gimmicks as well, which they are not penalized for--completely unfair. Even if Len is old school/traditional ballroom, I am sure ballroom has changed a little bit. Boo to Len! He clearly wants Dmitry and Mya out of DWTS and we cannot allow him to. I voted at least a 100 times for them to make it to next week and I am going to vote a great deal more!

Len is just a lost cause. His dislike for Mya and Dimitry is clearly personal at this point. He can't come up with anything to say about their footwork, frame, musicality, etc. -- you know, their actual DANCING -- so he makes some kind of crackpot comment about gimmicks or whatever. It was a classy, eye-catching, memorable performance, much like Mya and Dimitry themselves. Team Mya and Dimitry all the way! Let Len have his blow-up doll Joanna, I'd rather watch REAL talent.

I tottaly agree with you. Len has a personal problem with both of them. Mainly perhaps with Dmitry who is Russian and with Mya for being Hyspanic. I see him give more points to someone else who doesn't deserve such high praises. Bruno and Carri Ann are both on the dot. I find Mya very gracious and humble. Yes, folks please vote. Len is playing - - it'll be boring if judges have same opinions so it's an ABC gimmick in itself. The ratings of DWTS will only go up with fun, creative gimmicks - traditional dancing (though great) applies to serious ballroom environment only. I thought this was beautiful. ABC/Disney should think of making a movie with Mya and Dmitry (maybe a mix of charming "Enchanted" and a little drama of "Saturday Night Fever" but a great mix of good music/dance/script will make it work.

You are spot on about Derek & Joanna! Derek really knows how to sex up the dance routines and both the judges & the viewers are lapping it all up! As the saying goes "Sex sells!" Another thing is, Derek knows how to make the most of Joanna's limitation i.e. her inflexibility & horrible lines by distracting everyone with "sexy time" routines, huh! :( But I still think that Derek is brilliant, though! I just feel that Dimitry is holding back or trying to please Len or something....

Dimitry really has to change his style of choreography! I love both of them but he is not maximizing Mya's dancing ability :( His routines either lack piazza or sensuality.

For example Derek's choreography makes Joanne looks like she can dance but actually she is not as flexible or accomplished as Mya. Derek throws in alot of sensual moves that sells!

i knew it. when i saw the dance that len would not like it. because they were not on hold all the time. i never get mad at len even though mya is my favourite competitor. because len is old fashion. dmitry should know that by now that len doesn't like dancing around. i think the should keep in classic but like classically good. Len should have given them an 8 at least. their performance was beautiful. i am already excited for next monday i hope they get 3 dances so i will see more of them
