Maybe you could try this instructional video again with better terminology and speech .  Don't rely on us seeing your good posture. Explain how we achieve it in short, concise instruction, i.e. sitting tall with back straight and off the chair, etc.

Better than a student model, try a Buescher Big B or King Zephyr or and old Martin or Conn made knock off. I learned on a silverplate Buescher from the 1920s and except for the dead spot at the high A key, which you can adjust to over time, the horn was fantastic. Way easier to play than a modern Yamaha or Vito or whatever. I have not tried any horns made after the 1980s though. Late '20s through 50s horns are tops for me and many are in the under 400 dollar range. I've had 4 Selmers,not special

chill out on his presentation people... he's got a degree in music.... how much social skills do you expect him to have? he's not a professor of public speaking... he's a musician. it's hard to explain things to beginners when the things you're teaching, you learned 20 years ago...
