Canary's and budgies DO NOT MIX...!!! As a general rule, you don't mix hookbills with softbills. The outcome, could be a very, very, dead softbill indeed.....(g) In fact, you shouldn't even mix most hookbills of different species together....!!!

First of all, female bugdies tend to be somewhat agresive by nature, and male budgies tend to be more relaxed. So if you put a female budgie with a canary then their is a risk that the budgie will kill the canary. The best is a very relaxed male budgie, like the one in the video,which seems very playfull, or thinks it can have sex with the canary.

All though I am not sure, I would say by looking at the budgie, that it is a male budgie.

@TVQUEEN01 canaries do have personality. My canary has quite alot of personality and is very playful. Other canaries can be more laid back or lazy. Budgies can also have big personalitys and some may be lazy and laid back as well. each bird is different.
