  • This is one of my faves from this album. Who knew it was Jimmy Webb writing. So haunting , poignant & "adult" (I was a kid when this came out). It's still awesome- listen to that harmony

(1:30), and still touches me- even more now that I'm old & nostalgic. Thanx for posting

  • Blu - Everybody Nose (Produced By Exile)

  • I have this album, it was only released in 1965 and my mother bought it for me as one of my Christmas presents. $2.98, $3.98 for sterio was too expensive. That's o.k. I have played this album ever since. I have never heard the sterio version until now, thank you.

  • The very BEST Christmas song ever written by a lyrical genius.

When I hear the Tempt version featuring Eddie Kendricks wailing vocals, it never fails to

    move me to tears.

I love the Supremes version, but The Tempts brought it to a completely higher level.

  • Good to see YT haven't taken this song down this time! Great news!! One of the best Christmas songs ever written.

  • this woman makes me cry..i have been crying when i first heard her sing when i was 7yrs old back in 1963..she recorded this with her two best friends..mary and florence..i heard this song and i cried..in was in 1965..i was 9yrs old..yesterday I watched her sing to Oprah.and again..this woman made me Cry at age 55? ..(so did Oprah. I dont blame her at all)..the point is..Diana's voice tugs at the heartstrings..if just take time to listen, and feel the pain in her voice. its amazing.

  • @shelli38

At 51, I remember bringing this album to school when I was in 2nd grade, along w/other kids bringing their records. One of the older kids (an 8th-grader) who was watching our class while the teacher was at lunch. She absolutely refused to play even 1 song on this album. I was heart-broken, b/c I really wanted to share this album w/my classmates. This was in Catholic school.
