I love how they sing "Someone once lied to us. Now we're not so blind." But is that very lie that is making them blind to Kovu's innocence. If Simba had of thought this through, he'd have noticed that too much didn't add up and he couldn't have had the full story.

Also the scar his mother gave him couldn't compare to the scarring Simba just did.

Even though so many people hate on this. I feel like this is easily one of (if not the) Disney's best sequels and best movies.

@InuYashna basically lion king was originally a book and tells the story from the birth of taka and mufasa who were twins.they both loved each other to death but taka was fond of his mother and the father was fond of mufasa and hence chose him as king as taka grew older he grew jealous because of this and later both hated each other,when scar was a teen a buffalo attaked him and caused a scar on his face hence his name.reading the book explains the characters in detail and it will make sense!!

I assume the books you're talking about is The Lion King: Six New Adventures where they tell the story of Ahadi, Scar as a child, Mufasa/Scar as king, etcetera. But to be exact, the books were released after The Lion King was released and were unofficial sources. They're just since stories Disney never approved the books.
