Ok, the supra is impressive, no doubt. What you fail to notice is, the 360 modena stock is 420 HP @ 370 ish torque. (If you did notice that sorry.) So compared to that torque monster supra w/ 900 HP. The ferrari is a bit "slow" as you say, compared to the suped up supra. Lets do the same to the ferrari, then rerace. That way its a fair race, and we arent spouting off nonsense. P.S. Id take the ferrari, I love that model.

Ferrari 400 hp and supra 600 hp.. .. the Ferrari has better feel and is more fun to drive... and also Ferrari is making cars with 400 hp cause they want to be more controllable than 600 hp car... third if you want to try a ferrari try the F40 or the enzo, or the 458 italia and then we will see which is faster... they put large turbos and big booster and the get 600 hp .. the supra has no long life with this aftermarket part...

@BoarWarNZ just cause you can afford something doesnt make it the better buy... think about the money for kids or family members or other people who aren't as fortunate. you can make a supra look and perform as well as a ferrari for way less money. when you pay for a ferrari you aren't paying that much money for the quality of the car... you are giving them money to help their racing team. Their cars are expensive because they don't need to sell them but it helps their racing team when they do

I would SO be excited to see what any V8 including Modena's would do to that Supra if they Turbo it to 18PSI aswell,because as far as i know a Corvette's 400hp Ls2 at 20psi usually has over 1200hp rwhp,while this one needs 18psi for 600hp @ maybe 15000rpm and its owners have the guts to start competition with Ferraris.
Deep inside the truth of facts Supra's engine is an overrated small Inliney 6 that dies to match bigger serious engines but has no balls to do it other than a Semi's Turbo.

@truebassB wait hey, im die hard american, vettes camaros, but i have to admit, you put 20 psi on a stock ls2 your going to blow that shyt up, no question about it, 1200 rwhp with a stock ls2 is going to blow up, hell at the 600+ mark under racing conditions its going to blow up, that 2jz-gte engine in that supra is pretty amazing considering reliability, a simple turbo/ down pipe, boost controller can put that car at about 700rwhp with out it blowing, but 800mark and on will blow it

But just so you know,the Corvette's LS2 on a GMT360 truck stock as is handles up to 10PSI boost with a bolt on Supercharger and a Tune and makes 450hp rwhp on a Truck Platform,for 20PSI you will need a few other things,but in NONE case an Ls2 blows with 20PSI of boost,and the Tranny? If it's not built,it does.

@opiatkiinq I don't really know where you wanna go with your facts about Supra's engine,nor i will argue with an Internet Guy who could be either an expert,a Fanboy set to Read-Only,or a 12yo child who says what he heard,but no matter what you say,a proven reliable bigger engine like Ls1,Ls2,Audi V10s,V12s,with the same amount of Money and Time on it,it would still beat the crap out of a small Inline 6.
The fact that a used i6 Supra worth its money more than a Ferrari,it's out of our question.

@truebassB I'm just going by what i've personally saw, also I'm referring to a stock ls running 20psi, the rings go, then the wobble, weakens where the rod connects to the piston , and be for you know it you have a hole in the side of the block ;( this is what I've personally saw :/ and to get, when i went for 800hp in my 99 camaro, i had to rebuild the bottom end, get the crank and rods balanced, did the top end, then i had to get the 6 speed built, then had to swap the rear end out, read post2
