  • This song was an old hymn originally written by Wilbur Chapman. This rendition was recorded by Jeff Johnson on his album Glorious Day. This song has since been recorded by Casting Crowns. The version was arranged by Jeff Johnson. This is Jeff Johnson singing.

  • This video (vocals) is actually Michael Bleecker singing. He redid the old hymnal "One Day" with this new version. Casting Crowns has made this song a main stream hit. Don't know who Wilbur & Jeff are, but the credits should go to Michael Bleecker.

  • ips45s8tracks........sir this is not a rendition.....it is the original version

  • Is this the Jeff Johnson who did a recent cd with Phil Keaggy?

    Thanks for sharing!

  • It came from the baptist hymn "One Day" by Wilbur Chapman around 1908, although the song being played here is called "Glorious Day", a new version of the old hymn, as performed by Jeff Johnson.
