after i saw this movie for the first time i went to the golden gate bridge with 5 people every day for a week and found anyone who looked sad tried our best to cheer them up, i don't know if any of them committed suicide or anything of the sort, all i know is that, in that week there was not one suicide attempt on the bridge

This ISN'T a debate about whether or not YOU believe in God. It's about a guy named Kevin and many others who got to a point in their lives where they thought their only escape was to kill themselves, this is the problem, people make EVERYTHING about themselves and just miss (or ignore) the fact that people are suffering. The seal was nudging him and circling around him to keep him afloat. No, not everyone is saved by a seal. Kevin survived the impact and wasn't able to keep himself afloat. Basically the seal saved his life. (Most people die instantly from impact)
Maybe it was God and it wasn't his time to go yet.

They must realize that...and until they treat him like he's 'normal' then he isn't going to feel accepted...which is generally a reason why people feel the need to commit suicide anyway...because they aren't accepted. If believing that God intervened in that one moment and saved his life keeps Kevin from committing suicide again, what's so wrong about that?
