The book tied Tumblety to three of the cannonical five victims. He couldn't have got to Stride in the available time, and Kelly didn't have his 'signature'.
Personally, I suspect there was no Jack. We know the Ripper letter sent to the newspaper was sent by the journalist who reported it, and murders were common in London at the time - there were 17 attributed to the never caught 'torso killer' in the same months.
@KapStuf mary kellys murder was certainly the rippers signature he had more time to do what he wanted as it was indoors , eddowes killing he was most likely disturbed by the man with his cart she had only just been attacked by the ripper he most likely then looked for another victim it does fit the same killer, the other killings you mention were just stabbings which doesn't fit mutilations or lust killing
@KapStuf m kelly's body was more *severe* than the others because it was done inside a house he had more time to do more damage the other victims were in the streets thats the diffference.
the ripper had no problem leaving the bodys where they were the torso's you mention without there heads were done to conceal the murders and hide the crime and identity of the victims obviously yes they were just stabbings for the most part IMO

@gentle7ways7 Kelly's mutilations were *much* more severe than the others - maybe it was the ripper but you can't just handwave away the difference.
You're dismissing 17 limbless and headless corpses found floating in the Themes as 'just stabbings'?
