So sad about the loss of this great man. There is no replacement and he was an American Original.Let's keep him in our memories and keep his music alive forever!!
He could make that guitar pour out his emotion, couldn't he. He had the gift, his insight was second to none, he saw and verbalized what I can barely glimpse at until I hear another of his songs. Thank God he shared Mark with us for the time he was here.
I have Marks music on cassettes precious now to me...will have to dig them out and play them. love that guy very much missed!!!God Bless,Linda Pothiers :*)
It's schocking to watch this, knowing that he would soon have a heart attack and pass away... and by soon I mean REALLY soon. Thanks for posting this up... I'm still trying hard to get my wife into Mark's music. (she's a classical buff: Bach, Mozart, Brahams... yawn) I miss Mark and his profound manner of crystallizing truth.
@BethelAbba Hi I too am a (classical buff and jazz....yahoo!!) but, I loved Mark the first time I heard him (not knowing who he was)...when I ordered his tape thru a music club...yes, I agree, about his death, it was a shock to me too,I have an artical which Bruce Cockburn(love him too) heard a song by Mark and he just found out he just passed away, and wished he had known him. Miss him too thanks for sharing and God Bless....lindapothiers@hotmail.com

I was at this show! To learn that we lost him after this was horrible. Great show, Great Man.

One of the most beautiul songs I have ever H e a r d. ;)
The sound quality here is horrible. If you've never listened to the Dry Bones Dance album version, you must.
