  • is tht actually THEIR baby or is it just a tiny clarkii, and y dont u add more liverock?

  • @HaloKiller1166 Yes, really their baby!

  • Awesome!

You are the clownfish breeding master :)

I heard Clarkii's are very aggressive. Is this true?

  • Yes they are. They are known to bite hands and beat up other fish. On the plus side, they have a lot of personality and interact with you by begging for food when they see you.

  • That is so true! I have a clarkii clown and he interacts with me. He will reconize if it is me and if it isnt he will swim really quick to the back of the tank. The Clarkii clown is the best colwn fish in my perspective. They will host with anything! Mine hosts a feather duster. I am getting a 10 inch sebae soon so he will not have to annoy the feather duster.

  • @blairfritz They will love the seabae anemone! sebae anemones get really big so it will make a nice cushy bed.

  • How do you get the baby to live with the parents? If my clowns breed I'd like to keep 3 babies with the parents. Will they kill it or will they recognize it as their own baby?

  • The dad chased the baby around for about a week and at night the baby would sneak into the anemone. After awhile, he just ignored it. The mom never minded the baby. Clarkii babies are pretty smart and quick. I don't know if it would work long term. I put a few True Percs into their parents tank but so far, the parents are still mean to them. It is not a recommended thing to do.
