  • which hotswap Array is that? looks like the 2100(got one myself)

  • how many hard drives is that and how much space??

  • I love the old HP Server stuff. TO bad the drives are kind of slow for this day and age. Still wonderful to use if you really need to set up a data base server that just needs to get lots of small info with lots of users. But today, a simple Ram based SSD does wonders. Still music to my ears..

  • But can it play minecraft

  • Dude, Sell that server to me!!!!

  • at 2:04 i shatnerd myself.. my god

  • So you host porn with those ?

  • the sound likes a plain take off xD

  • Someone else is paying the hydro bill, right?

  • What do you use it for?

  • I reminder the days, watching the RAID firing up and making sure all is working fine

  • O.O such a beautiful sound. like a spaceship booting up!

  • Wow I would buy one of eBay just for the noise and blinking lights!!

  • i'm setting up my own home server for christmas, by modifying my former main computer (a HP pavilion slimine s7600n) with RAM upgrades and a 2TB USB drive.

As time goes on, i plan to suppliment it with a drive array via USB, and upgrade the processor from a Athlon 64 3500 O+ to something with at least 2 cores.

Once i get the initial system set up, it'll be measley, but for backups and light file storage it'll get the job done.

  • woah where do you get those hard drives? i need some for my proliant 1600 i cant find them any where

  • I got mine from ebay real cheap

  • pretty inefficient

  • how much did it cost and how many memory in it

  • but it works so nothing wrong with that

  • So Awesome. What tape library is that? I have a L180 and I still haven't got it running yet. I just bought a SUN V880 and hopefully that'll fix it
