Brilliant weapon that has made many bad guys into wallpaper. It might be worth trying to bring your body mass behind the gun though, shooting at an angle to the mass is messy as the recoil is directed down the shoulder and arm with the rotational force spread around the torso, specific to this gun though. Not a criticism but you might benefit from the change. I asked Santa for one but our gun laws said no...bugger!

Great video! This weapon can be a lot of fun. The reason the gun keeps lurching to the side is because your body is off to an angle. Try to adjust your body position more towards the center to allow minimal lateral movement. Have fun and be safe!

people need to understand that in real life any gun will kill with 1 shot. video games are made by people who do not get out and see the real world much so they dont exactly have the knowledge to replicate it. My only complaints about these games are that if you arent going to make it a 1 hit gun dont put the gun in the game. m40 is good enough nobody would be able to take a shot to the chest plate and still be standing or able to opperate. your ribs would be dust.

With a .50 cal gun you dont even have to hit the target to kill. its compression will do the killing for you. if the bullet is 1 ft. away from your arm. consider it gone.

umm... no im sorry you have to hit what you are aiming at buddy. you act as if this is a rail gun. it only has a muzzle velocity of 2800 ft/s the reason why this application is so affective is due to the large round allowing it to carry further. of course if you land a hit its like getting hit by a pick up truck in a parking lot.

Nice cache of spent rounds. I'd reload those puppies using a reloading system from Old Western Scrounger and cast some 50 cal bullets and reuse those cases. I don't know if anyone has experimented with this but I always thought one could use a bushing that will allow large regular rifle primers to be used with the 50 BMG case.

i would assume the amount of time and money the government has paid Barret to R&D this weapon the round has pretty much been set up for perfect balance. unlike the rounds you buy for your at home deer/target rilfe this gun is suppose to shoot practically the same every time you pull the trigger.

The 50 cal M2 round has been around for nearly 70 years as a heavy machine-gun round and not custom made for the rifle. Also, each round that can be shot through this weapon will require it's own point-of-aim so it depends on the shooter (so long as the any round is compatible with the rifle). Additionally, the gov't didn't pay Ronnie Barrett R&D funds (at least initially) when he developed the M82.

yes very wrong the intervention and the .50 are discraces to their real world versions. if you want to know what a .50 cal does to someone if you are over 18 go to google and search .50 cal sniper kill. you can see some marines taking out taliban in afg. its not a pretty sight but it will show you what high power weapons do. even the m40 is a 1 hit gun. Most people die from the shock of the impact let alone actually being struck in the lungs or heart

I love the people arguing about the damage this bullet inflicts on the human body, My Uncle bought one of these for $9,100, this gun would do unspeakable damage to the human body. There used a website with a picture of a marine sniper that shot a taliban fighter in the head with a .338 which is much smaller then the .50, it caved the guys face in, left the back of his head in pieces and blew off most of the top of his head. If thats any comparison. So compare that to the damage from a AP-HE .50.

From what I've heard, the muzzle break cuts around 60% of the recoil by itself, and all together, this rifle only has about the kick of a 12 gauge shotgun. However, you are still firing a .50 caliber machine gun round lol, so like you said, you need all of the recoil reduction features, otherwise you would end up with said broken shoulder.

Ive fired a Mauser k98 at the shooting range, And there was quite some recoil i tell you :O My shoulders hurt for like a day afterwards lol

But nothing compared to this one! Imagine firing it without it's recoil damping capability's... It would dislocate your shoulder haha :p

Not even close. Do some research. Throughout history the military has used some big guns for precision shooting on armored targets.

The M82 is a neat weapon. I carried an M82A1A for awhile, but it is far from the Strongest, Most Powerful or Most Accurate. It was intended for shooting vehicles and equipment where MOA accuracy was not needed.

They are cool rifles. Kind of goofy shooting them at close range, but I guess if that's all you got, then you have to shoot somewhere.

thanks. the recoil's not bad at all. The muzzle break takes it all for you. It depends what the 12 gauge is being shot from. but it is similar to an older shotgun.
