anyway, i acctually didnt like this movie much. So far I've liked what ive seen from Steven Chow (Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle), and while this move had its funny moments, it just didnt seem to have as good a story as the other movies.

though the kung fu hustle buddha's palm part in the boys dream really made me laugh :P

This movie isn't as good because of the ending. Maybe because they rushed it, the average length of a movie is about 2 hours and when his father died it was around 1 hour and 50 minutes. But they should've made an alternative ending, I wanna see what happens to all the oter CJ7s.

I went to the CJ7's screening last night at Hollywood. It was packed with about 300 audiences. I got to see the kid and Stephen Chow in person at the end of the movie. They have Q&A session. This movie really surprised me. It is better than I expected. It has happy, sad, cute, and emotional moments. I recommend it to everyone but watch it with an open mind. You'll enjoy it. A girl sat next to me cried which i assumed the movie touched her emotion. It is different from all of his movies. 3.5/5

I just saw this movie.... I cannot even begin to tell you how bad it is. It is sad kind of creepy and just cruel in some parts. It has almost no point. The worst is a scene were the little alien shits all over the kid...

Terrible, two thumbs down. zero stars. Stay away from this pile of junk.

couldnt agree with you more clevername333, i have always liked Stephen Chow and thought he is the last hope of HK movie, but this movie has to be one of worst ever, think of all the hype n how much time they put into this movie ... it came out a piece of junk. this is the first stephen chow movie that i didnt break a laugh. those "jokes" are either cheap or for kids only. plus the "alien" looks completely UNFINISHED, NOT CUTE ... nuff said now i want my money BACK!!
