what channels and frequencies are used in the Aussie Marine 27 mhz band? and what mode of emission is used? and does a person have to be licensed?

@andybowe 27.8800mhz & 86 destress 94 is used for sailing clubs, No licence needed for 27meg

Uniden are very well know for their cordless phones, I've not had much experience with them though, so I don't know how good they are, I've mostely used Panasonic cordless phones for the past 10 years.

this radio from uniden is great the whole unit has been underwater and still works

dont use them in trucks...we did here in MO for huntin because they got out so good. but now the FCC is hammerin down on us.

also how far did they pick up on land ?
