People need to realize that we once held the record for sellouts. Some people call it excitement around a baseball team that was still new to Toronto, but the success was the reason. We need to move to the NL if we have any way of competing because Rogers is afraid to throw the checkbook and compete with the Sox and Yankee's payrolls, while sparse crowds may continue. Sports in Toronto has taken a back seat over the years... all four teams have done nothing to gain confidence.

Tv ratings have increased over last year by a wide spread and even though the ball park attendanceisn't great right now its not even last place 20th in major league baseball. 4th best farm system in baseball with one of the best GM's in the game and a young 80+ win team with no bad contracts? This team is on the rise.

@killercan7 Actually, the attendance stat isn't very accurate. If you factor in the TV viewership, the Jays were great. They had the largest rise last year, at somewhere between 23% or 26%, I forget.
