Not gonna lie. I tried to hit 100 going from 65 with my Ram v6, and i thought the motor was gonna blow. It was near max RPMs yet still crawling upward in speed. I got to 95 and i ran out of road lol. But hey, how often do you go that fast.... the v6 still does normal speeds pretty good.... it just might take a little longer for us to get there than the fancy Hemi fanboys. =P
I'm sorry, I had to watch this again. The 70-95 mph was just so s.l.o.w. I've been on a 65mph 2 lane highway, and have hit it from 70-90mph to pass a car, and it has taken no time at all. Isn't this the same engine that dodge puts in its minivan? 3.7L V6?
70-90 in 15 seconds? wow. mine does it a lot faster. and 14 mpg in these trucks?! lol dude i can get 21 on the highway. you must have gotten a bad one
@gypsykingg May have different gears or rear ends. One is for towing and was is for highway. (one gives more acceleration, while another keeps the RPMs lower).
Im not saying thats the deal here, just sayin it might be.
If you are looking for camshafts for the 3.7, KRC Performance out of Florida has them. You can also get race ported heads from either Airram or 3rd Strike Performance.
hey sorry iam asking alot of question but iam about to sink some money into my dodge. When you put 456 in. did u have to change the rear differential or will the 456 fit in the punkin case. I have heard also that iridium spark plugs throws the timing or some crap off have you had any problems
iridium plugs gave me no problem. whoever told u they had a problem, probably had nothing to do with iridium plugs, but with changing the plugs period. the gap is tighter on a new plug, therefore timing will be kinda off. disconnect battery, wait a few minutes, no more check engine light.
as for gears...they make a 456 for a chrysler 9.25 rear end. i think some modification had to be done with in, but nothing ridiculous. throw it in there and done.
hey, i think the only thing different from last video is the jetchip stage two. i had a jetchip highway cruise video uploaded before, but it was snowing and i had 600lbs of sandbags in the back.
next is a shift kit, aluminum shaft and maybe a torque converter.
Hey man nice truck by the way just wondering what you have upgraded from last video? I just ordered the KBR headers from airram and a magna flow system. What series K&N intake and throttle body did you go with.

I don't wish to be mean, but seriously. It took you 8 seconds to get to 45mph? By 8 seconds, a quad hemi is past 60mph.

i think u can find them anywhere. we have a 45rfe trans...and google shifts kits for it...i think there are tons.

fastman. jetchip has a site. and a shaft can be picked up anywhere they make em. if u can't find a place to make an aluminum one, order online.

oh...as for the k&n intake. it's a generic cold air intake with a k&n cone on it. no need to buy the k&n version...
