I own a 1942 Kar98k, and a 1943 Walther P38. Excellent and effective firearms, then again I love just about all the WWII rifles/pistols and find them all to be very effective :D Screw polymer! Classic steel and wood is the way to go! I'll let the P38, TT33, and Webley Mk.VI have the plastic grips though lol Don't hurt :) Even though I got some gorgeous red wood grips for my '42 TT33. :P Great vid, always fascinating to get a glimpse of history.

Just like how if the American/British Normandy invasion had failed, the Soviets would have claimed all of Germany, and possibly not have stopped there. Both of those nations would have started wars regardless of Hitler

It is true that the Germans were less willing to surrender to the Russians rather than the other Allies (for obvious reasons...), but many of the Wehrmacht's troops at Normandy were forcibly conscripted from territory taken by the Nazis, and weren't exactly soldiers of the highest quality. By that I mean that they were unwilling to fight for the Germans, and quickly surrendered to the Americans/British after quick battles.
Actually England lost anything since WW1 and WW2. It was too weak to do anything in second war. When they (france&England) declared war on Germany they did nothing for 8 months. England couldn't handle a big war and hoped and wanted to shift the war to the east so that England could survive which it was happend, and big war went to Eastern Front. Even then English had very big troubles in Asia and North Africa. They engaged only with 3 division of Germans (Rommels) till 1944 IMAGINE that!!!!

The fire-bombed German cities to the point where Russians could simply stroll though. They provided the Russians with supplies, food, and ammo.

Not true. The vast majority of German units on the western front had extensive combat experience from the eastern front. The Russians didn't have a harder time against the Germans in the east because they were stronger, but because they were less willing to surrender to the Russians than they were to the Americans or British. If the Americans or British had taken Berlin, the battle would have lasted a couple days, as most Germans would have surrendered.

That's not true. The Soviets got huge amounts of supplies from America. Most of the trucks used by the Red Army were made in the USA by Ford...and without the western Allies bombing Germany and destroying their capability to resupply their own forces, it would have been impossible for the Soviets to win. It is true that the Germans were less willing to surrender to the Russians rather than the other Allies (for obvious reasons...), but many of the Wehrmacht's troops at Normandy were forcibly conscripted from territory taken by the Nazis, and weren't exactly soldiers of the highest quality. By that I mean that they were unwilling to fight for the Germans, and quickly surrendered to the Americans/British after quick battles.

Actually England lost anything since WW1 and WW2. It was too weak to do anything in second war. When they (france&England) declared war on Germany they did nothing for 8 months. England couldn't handle a big war and hoped and wanted to shift the war to the east so that England could survive which it was happend, and big war went to Eastern Front. Even then English had very big troubles in Asia and North Africa. They engaged only with 3 division of Germans (Rommels) till 1944 IMAGINE that!!!!

The US beat the entirety of the Japanese armed forces alone, and also played a big role in Europe. The US won air-superiority in Europe, and leveled factories to make the Russian advance easier. The fire-bombed German cities to the point where Russians could simply stroll though. They provided the Russians with supplies, food, and ammo.
The Russians did play a large part, but they were far from alone.

I'm not totally agree with your statement, that US beat entirety of the Japanese armed forces alone!! in 4 years US engaged Japanese in Ocean and islands which were not in an army or army group formations but island to island little divisions, many of them without proper supply like Iwo Jima, Okinawa!! US destroyed Japanese fleets and brought 700k casualties, but when soviets invaded they engaged with armies and brought +1 million casualties to Japanese in 2 weeks, then finally Japanese
