Hola, sos un master, helpme please; quiero pintar mi guitarra pero no se que pintura es la adecuada, es decir como la pido al vendedor de pinturas, y luego como se llama el tipo de brillo(bright) que utiliza para el terminado?
Mi guitarra tiene pintura negra en poliuretano y es muy dura de despintar, lo correcto es pintarla encima de la pintura que tiene cierto?
It's a very nice version, but honestly I think that's a little too much effort. Besides it's not pretty accurate, except you wanted to go for a factory new version. Also you don't necessarily have to rout for the Floyd Rose. You can give the neck pocket a little angle like Warmoth does. Charvel also uses that technique for their San Dimas guitars. ;)
@kasseyify you don't absolute have to rout, but if you don't, the action will be unacceptably high and the intonation will allways be off. Eddie had to deal with that same problem when he first put in a floyd rose in his. Its best if you do route the body about 1/4 inch to fit the floyd rose.
@kasseyify yes because a strat is only designed for you to depress the whammy bar there for you dont need it routed but when you pull up the body gets in the way thats why a strat doesnt pull up its kina like a teeter totter like if you had something blocking one side it would only be able to go down but if you dont then the bridge is free to move. does that help?
