  • YOUR AWSOME!!!!!

  • When I was a kid living in Omaha the Old Home Bread commercials were on. Good times. Great song etc. Brings back a lot of memories.

  • listen to giddie up go ......awesome trucker song...... and another teddy bear...

  • @lilmama4086 Ya teddy bear is a amazing song i could lisen to this song and teddy bear for ever there so ketchy and amazing C W Mcall i will one day meat u in person

  • Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there fer sure! Everybody had to have a cb after this song came out.

  • You gotta have respect for those truck drivers, if it wasnt for them we wouldnt get our supplies. I love this song, i have ALOT more respect now

  • Always a great song- They play this on Sirius 70s so it's still on the radio! just sattelite radio :)

  • I still have my convoy 45. I can still remember every word. I was 10 when this song came out. I always thought they were saying, "were goin to roll this fuckin convoy" LOL. Well fast forward to 1995 and i got into trucking, and i did get to see the country on my companys dime. But the D.O.T. messed with you at every scale. Canadians were the worse. Me and this black canadian D.O.T. officer almost got into it. He knew i was serious and he just backed down.

  • My real father use to work at Detroit Diesel and he work on trucks and I don't drive one I do respect those truckers.

  • this is me and my dads fave song

  • Ha yes the times i drove the family sofa from coast to coast listening to this using a tea tray for a steering wheel. Was born into trucking but only eight wheeler tippers so the big eighteen wheelers looked great.

  • My Handle is Rubber Duck!!LOL!My friend Josh's handle is General Lee!

  • I wish we still had records, sound so much better then CD's Before my time though :(

  • they never played the chourus in the movie so u didnt get creeped out

  • BEST...MOVIE...EVER!!!

  • I didn't remember the chorus being so freakin creepy.

  • Oh shit! It's Cactus Jack!

  • Have any of you truckers heard? They have a deal now that the slower traffic is to stay to the right.

It seems that they don't teach that in truck school.

  • @Smackdaddy9

They also don't teach for a drivers license that trucks don't brake on a dime, so don't cut them off. Or that it's hard to see on the right, so don't pass them there or to be courteous flip your headlights off then back on. Oh, and not to mention they sometimes need running starts so don't dick around going up a hill. I'm not a trucker, but it's common sense. But not for all people. Most accidents involving a truck are due to the idiot driving the car.

  • Knock it off.

Try that 'courteous flip' 8 of 10 truuckers ignore it or don't know what it means.

I've tried to be a fan of the Truckers. It just never works.

  • @Smackdaddy9 Well next time your sitting there eating, thank God for truckers. How you think that food got to you. How bout the cloths on your back? The roof over your head? Truckers, the backbone of America.

  • That's really beautiful. Now, get the fuck out of the left lane and we can be pals.

  • WOW, what graceful language. How far did you go in school? Fourth grade maybe? Cause somebody didnt teach you how to speak english or respect.

  • HAHA, yeah fourth grade.

I applied to be a truck driver and they told me that I was over-qualified.

  • @Smackdaddy9 lol!! wat r u a soup kithen chef!!!! lol!!!

  • @drtool23 You got it, drtool23! I sling hash for all the past, present, and future sorry-asses with drug and booze problems.

Now let them truckers roll, 10-4!

  • Hey dude, this was it in those days. I had a CB in my pickup, and even tho I was a four wheeler, was it ever cool to ride the range with those cattle drivers out there. Did we speak English? Heck no, but good buddy, did we ever have some fun!

  • haha disleblanc. 19 and a trucker? haha ive only got 9 years under my belt but 200 years total of family tradition. pulled box, skateboard, refer, opened top, dump, and livestock trailers. drove 5,9,10,13 and 18 speeds. not alot of experience as some but enough to do circles around ya. lol

  • this song in my scania 620 v8 that´s nice

  • I remember when this song came out. Always liked it, but it's only here recently that I appreciate it.

  • i think i saw part of this convoy a few years back, they were doing 90 heading up north from tennessee at midnight

  • know anybody else that wants to be in that chartruse microbus besides me?

  • Wow. That was pretty gay.

  • preachy shit = fuckoff! tune! going into my club mix! har har!

  • 10 / 4

  • Most of the rigs I see are in left lane doing 60mph. Lead, Follow, or Get The Fuck Out Of The Way!

  • EAR RAPE

  • convoy's are not illeagle! you must have space for other vehicular traffic.if we run 2 20 together were not in a convoy! just nobody in between!

  • You're not a trucker you dirty fuck, stop trying to trick people because its not working.

  • disleblanc, you are to fuckin young or stuipid to even know what the fuck a convoy is!if twenty car's are going together some where,it's a fucking convoy[of car's].i have over 2 million mile's under my belt, and no naccident's!i think you might be one though.if i don't know how to drive truck, well i'll let you tell me how to shift a mack 18 speed quadraplex transmission,or ,for shit's and giggle's!how about a spicer 14 speed?or a eaton /fuller 18 speed.

  • 11 long haired friends of jesus an a chartruse microbus

  • @figgle99 What a Saying

  • Wonder if he's still mayor of Lake City

  • That was the time to be alive, these days you've got everything from required govern @ 65mph (105kmph in Canada) just to drive in Ontario. Give us the roads back, those road cowboys are out there everyday, and these suits think they're making the roads safe.

  • This song is maybe the coolest trucking song the world has ever heard.

    10-4!

  • A-MEN 2 That.

The Truck Smasher is 10-10 and monitoring

  • Yes, it is!

  • @Johi2410 Datz a Big 10-4 ! ! ! !

  • Love that crackle and pop of that vinyl.

  • rofl i gunna be a trucker...if it wernt illegal id get a convoy...haha

  • i love this song, which is wierd cause i usually only listen to rap. lmao. great song. i have the 8 track still

  • rubber duck this sodbuster...awesome

  • The movie was horrible, but I love this song! Thanks!

  • GREAT SONG!!!

  • LOL

  • I was born in the bunk of my fathers Peterbilt and have been driving since, Love to have that deisel in my blood , Love this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wtf is that in the beginning thats like a giant cd

  • its called a 8 track record they were used in the 60's,70's and very early 80'S

  • Actually it was an 8 Track Cartridge, it following the short lived 4 Track Cartridge, that didn't have it's own pinch roller, (rubber wheel) inside the cartridge. I was intended for the car as it won't skip over railroad tracks or potholes.

  • No such thing as an 8 track record, dude... not in the sense you're sayin, anyway.... lol

  • the chance of finding someone who doesn't know what a vinyl record is 1 in a million, yet you've somewhat amazed me.

    whats the world coming to

  • lol i do remember vinyl records i wanted to see if anyone would reply but yeah i remember them as a kid

  • Great song!! ... Reminds me of being a kid too!

  • We're still rollin' !

  • OMG... I suddenly remembered that blue/gold "yin-yang" label... my first record album I ever owned was "Wolf Creek Pass" courtesy of my grandfather, a trucker... "Black Bear Road" (where this song came from) was my second album ever, back when I was 9 or so...

  • Oh the 0ld 70's and cb days!

  • We're about to go huntin bear!

  • top classic from the 70s!

  • Roll On Big MaMa.

  • cool from CO

  • This reminds me of when I was a kid and we were still free!

  • I am heading to Billings Montana, and when I get to the chicken coop in Montana, I am going to tear up my swindle sheets and leave them sitting on the scales. They can kiss my hemmriod...

  • ???????????

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG! LISTENEDD TO IT ALL MY LIFE! and i'm only a teenager and i still love these old songs... Harper Valley PTA, north to alaska, don't take your guns to town, Big john,

  • Fuck yeah!!

  • truckers need to quit working with the cops, being snitches telling on the cars

  • shouldnt be doin nothin wrong bitch

  • love this song

i would so be the suicide jockey

  • i take it unclefestus never saw the movie, watch the movie, you havent the closest idea of the song

  • I never understood this song.... I mean if the convoy just follows the speed limit, you can just deliver your cargo to NYC and not have to outrun the smokeys.... and what kind of cargo are they carrying anyway to have tanks and armored cars after them?

  • it was illegal to have convoy's...and they weren't obeying speed laws! lol Couldn't have more than 2 trucks together.

  • @ unclefestus - the convoy starts small and builds as they move across the country. The thought of all of those working men delivering the goods, coast to coast. That was also in the days before the restrictions on the number of hours worked or miles driven, so the idea was to haul as much as you could as far as you could, drop your load, get your backhaul load, and head back out. I love seeing the rare indie driver out there with custom rigs - so few and far between.

  • I love the really original ones. I saw one one time, it was painted up to look like that killer truck from Maximum Overdrive. Spooky

  • It's because, where this song is based, convoys are illegal.

  • for real? omg, now the whole film makes sense xD

  • i didn't know convoys are illegal in arizona, just demonstrations like that...

  • :p haha yes.

  • I have this 45 also, but nothing to play it on. I had CB cards (like baseball cards sold with bubble gum) still do somewhere. thanks for posting -catch ya on the flip flop :)

  • Good song though.

  • Who the hell are the lame ass back-up singers?

  • DragonOnMe , I only ever saw McCall on tv , back in the day.

  • How retro :D

Love this song, ever see CW mcCall ? You dont expect that voice on him lol. Great vid :)

  • jasonlava , Let 'Er Roll !

  • jasonlava, The older this song gets, the better it sounds.(I envy your Seeburg)

  • I have a Magnavox Astro Sonic is storage that I will get out soon. It needs new idlers and a needle (have already) and it works like a charm.

  • Selection 109 in my Seeburg. One of my favorite songs from the 70s.

  • queenbee345622 , Yes, it does have a warp. However, the Magnavox's tonearm is so heavy, the warp doesn't stand a chance.

  • Does that record have a slight warp? I noticed the flicker. It sounds fine, just wondering. I got a few with warps myself. Great record. Takes me back to when I was in 6th grade. And CB's and Truckers were getting a fan base. I am still a fan of truckers.

  • damusician,

So we hit that gate doing 98.

  • haha, jersey shore @ 3:14! i'm only and 1hr away from there.
