In mainland China u are allowed to smoke in most hotels. They don't have strict laws about smoking, unlike in taiwan when they do not allow people to eat on beard public transport.

In mainland China u are allowed to smoke in most hotels. They don't have strict laws about smoking, unlike in taiwan when they do not allow people to eat on beard public transport.

I stayed at a hotel in taipei for a month and i was escorted out by "taiwanese" police because i was smoking. They wouldn't even let me finish my cigarrett, selfish bastards.
Also, about "freedom". I have been to China twice and i saw no evidence of "dictatorship". This is the 21st century China we're talking about, its alot different compared to 1950 China.

People don't need to smoke. People cannot smoke in the non smoking area. And if you do, you don't respect others. Being escorted out by the authority is just a polite way to protect others' right. The police did the right thing.
An advanced and civilized country would not allow smoking indoor. In Canada, they are trying to pass the law to restrict people smoking in the pubs and nightclubs recently.
Unlike China, people smoke everywhere. Once again, I feel sorry for the kids.

Yes I've been there and it's a great city. However I went to Mr.Donuts and saw poeple smoking all around and they didn't care about non smoking sign. If you tell them to stop smoking they'll not stop. And the crazy thing is when you report to the police they do nothing about it.
And also, lots of high building and skyscraper make people feel small and weak. That's one reason why I love Taipei.

I already saw them. And those are released by your goverment. You're the one who doesn't see the whole part of the story, or shall I say... You can't?

Ofcourse they were from Chinese goverment.. i doubt CNN would say that they are lying..
and.. WHY whould China's goverment kill those ppl without a reason?
