  • I've met Matt a couple of times. I will say he is a great player and very gifted teacher but, holy crap, is he an amazing guitar tuner.

  • Matt is a great teacher. I spent a week with him at Nat'l Guitar workshop. He's even more funny in person.

  • Thank You Smitty. You cleared up alot of stuff for me...

  • wow i am amazed how quickly you open tune, and you have a gr8 manner for teaching guitar

  • what kind of ovation is that?

  • hell yeah, great lesson, and i love his style...fun

  • if you pressed the dislike button it's probably because the title alone was too confusing for you. Sell the guitar and buy a kazoo.

Thanks for the help Mr. Smith..and the laughs.

  • what a no nonsence teacher... great teaching

  • how do you tune so fast

  • @NewMusicSpacequake It comes with experience I think lol I can tune pretty fast to :P not THIS fast though haha

  • @NewMusicSpacequake practice :)

  • @NewMusicSpacequake Well.... that's because Matt has a extremely refined ear. Many guitarist, and this definitely includes me, are lazy about learning guitar. We look up tabs and watch youtube videos lol. Guitarists like Matt here learned to play to hard way... by listening. Heres my theory... or rather food for thought. Looks at how many amazing guitarist there were in the 60's 70's. Why? They didn't have Youtube with all its free lessons. They LISTENED to records for hours on end.

  • With extra stuff.haha.... awsome video Matt you are awsome at tuning a guitar haha you do it soo quickley..love you music thanks for the video
