  • So basically they cut the cash bonus later in the run?

  • That Buick was a plain Jane of a car. Did you notice that everyone in the place was truly underwhelmed by the car? Not exactly what I would call a "High Roller" of a car. They went from a Rolls to a Buick, quite lame.

  • Alex mentions after the Big Numbers that the original series gave away a Rolls Royce. Anybody know the circumstances of this?

  • @rollercoaster87

I think it might have been the "Car Bonus" in the first Trebek run but don't quote me on that one

  • Flying Moose? Only in Canada my fellow Northern Onatrian Alex. Only in Northern Ontario.

  • Wow, a 2 on the last roll, unreal.

  • @danbarker39 I know right? There is only one way to roll a 2 or a 12

  • Gosh, Alex is one of those hosts that can really rub it in to you....

How many times you have seen a flying moose? LOL.

You roll good, but I don't know what you are drinking on this show.

Gene--When your hot, your hot!!! lol

  • I would not mind seeing this show come back on.

  • 1:17- Jerry Reed reference

  • Big Numbers for $5,000 cash and a Chevrolet Nova value at almost $5,300 for a total of over $10,000 on High Rollers.

  • Apparently the guy was in a hurry to take down the prize list behind Daphne and Gene at 3:26.

  • Remarkable!

  • Have you ever seen a flying moose lol

  • @MatchGameDude74 He made up for that, needless to say.

  • Gene Just scored $42,100 In Cash And Prizes Whoa Nelly!

  • Dat-dat-dattat........Dat-dat-dattut. Dat-dat-dattat........Dat-dat-dattut.

My bad yall. After watchin this clip, talk about Mission Impossible! I can see why he's lucky.

  • The Rolls-Royce probably would have been from the syndicated run in the earlier version. Also, the little accident you're referring to, Mike, is that her microphone seems to have flew off. As a result of Gene's wins, I wouldn't be surprised if Merill Heatter was crying over it, lol.

  • THere was a contestant on Wink's version who the $10K in one segment, and then cleared all three columns in the first game of his next match.

  • @ 5.29 good roll.

  • I couldn't stop LMFAO @ 7:30!! Yoink!

  • Her mic was yanked off.

  • WOW! Note Alex say in the first run of High Rollers, about 1974-76, that someone won about $90,000 in cash and prizes...TOPPED BY A ROLLS ROYCE! Now $90K back in 1974 or so...I'd think that would be about $500K today.

  • it's a bird it's a plane it's BULLWINKLE!!!

  • @namk19 I agree; when I heard his response I was like "What?"; LOL, that was pretty funny.

  • @namk19 "Look, Rocky! I can fly!" Then, Bullwinkle would probably crash. :-)

And I remember seeing the big win on GS Galaxy before it shut down. Good job, Gene!

  • If 3 was the only bad roll, I would go ahead and roll myself!

  • Absolutely agreed, it is only a 2/36 chance.

  • @BlackwoodCompany 1/18 as a matter of fact.

  • @juan833blue Yeah, but I noticed on the Wink Martindale-hosted version, they would usually pass the dice if there was only one bad roll regardless of the number.
