  • Great video, VERY informative and, well presented. Thanks!

  • Will the pistol stay in the holster securely?

  • How long will the material hold up? Cotton T shirts start to stretch out and sag pretty quickly without the weight of a weapon hanging on the side.

  • Did I hear you right, you carry in church? That's illegal in my state

  • GR8 INFORMATIVE VIDEO

  • Solid review, been thinking about one of these... Lol when I'm old enough to get my permit.

  • Great review as usual Scootch, however I found myself eagerly awaiting the credits for the bloopers. I feel deprived. :)

  • I really appreciate you taking the time to explain and demonstrate this for us. Really good information. Thanks from a Christian brother.

  • Looks good but I am worried about the trigger guard. I carry a glock so I have no safty and I am always worried about soft material holsters especially spandex or cotton when it comes to covering the trigger. I would have to get a hug from a cute little shawty and bam I am shot in my hip. lol

  • Just ordered a shirt and got 10% off using the Sootch code. Thanks. I also ordered a gunvelope from their website. You might want to check those out or I'll send you a note about them. Unique, attractive, subdued gun keeper.

  • Just a few things. I just got one of these shirts today and wanted to share some info with everybody. First note that these shirts are pre-shrunk so that when you try it on thats how it will stay. Second you really should practice drawing your firearm with this shirt because the holster sits your firearm vertical and so when drawing you will get pull if you don't practice with it.

Sootch00 thank you for this video brother. God Bless America and Long Live the Republic.

  • It talks about you on their website lol. Great vid. Keep up the great work!

  • nice review. i do prefer the 5.11 holster shirt, though. it's more expensive but conceals really well and is very well made. it's a bit tight though.

  • How'd I miss this vid? Excellent, thanks Don. This may be what my dad needs for his ccw.

  • Sootch,

Check out Duluth Trading's extra long T's. They make ideal cover for a concealed carry pistol.

    Bob

  • Sootch, if you haven't checked this company out already, Duluth Trading, they make t shirts with extra long tails. This helps with needing a concealment cover. I wear these alot of times in hot weather as well as cold weather. They would be ideal to wear over the concealment T.

  • i see you talk about carry in Church as far as i know you cant so y talk about it

  • Thanks for the review...Ive been thinking about a concealment shirt for a while.

  • Hey. Great vids. I'm curious though. I love 1911 style pistols and you pointed out that the little 1911 style sub-compact was a smaller calliber than the glock 17 so it must be a .380 or .32?? If so where can those be found and are they a reasonable price? I'm going to check on your channel but if you dont have a vid for that gun, Id be very interested in seeing one. Thanks for all the great information in all of your vids. Keep it up.

  • Sir,

I am confident in saying that if our country is ever invaded, (or the occasional zombie apocalypse) I will be very VERY happy to find you. :)

    Your newest subscrib-ee

    Joey

  • @zerobinary2 dont you agree?

  • @iSmokeCronicUshld2 I agree that's why I lol!

  • love your videos sootch. I have a ruger lcp .380. Would you say this tee shirt would be enough protection to have a round in the chamber to avoid accidental discharge? Not like im gonna be low crawling in the woods lol. Keep up the good videos

  • Thanks for the vid...I've seen a different one in the NRA store. I think I like the one you show better. Thanks again.

  • so what if it prints then no one will fuck with you. : )

  • 3:52-whats the name of the pistol to the lower left that looks like a little 1911?

  • @williamrafe1 and the one you draw at 6:44

  • I really don't know about this, I really wish it had a pocket underneath the elastic band. I could just i slipping through the band and hitting the ground especially when running.

  • @shiv317 the bottom side is a smaller opening which would keep it from falling through kinda like every other holster in the world!! if you have a gun why would you be running any ways?? or would you take your gun on a marathon with you or while playing hide and go seek or red rover??!! which of these sounds most like you??

  • @satinwarship I thought it was just a elastic band. And I might run to get away so I don't have to use my gun, or to someone who is hurt.

  • Sootch00 I just ordered a few shirts and pocket holsters based on this review and left the following in the comments section on my purchase keep the vids comming /Be Safe

Just a FYI I am making this purchase based on a YouTube review by Sootch00 so for the future maybe you could send him items to review or give discounts to his viewers to help boost your sales,Just a thought..Thanks

  • @xdmccwdude Thanks Bro~ I appreciate the support! Hope you enjoy the shirts and holster. They make great leather.

  • What's the name of the pistol you just draw ?

  • can u get into trouble printing here in NC?

  • Just got turned on to your channel by watching USNERDOC. You have a great channel!

  • Thanks for the tip! I ordered 2. The day they came in I put one on and wore it for about 16 hours. Carried a compact 9MM with single stack mag. VEERRYY comfortable! It is HOT summertime here, so these give me a good alternative for weekends when I wear shorts. 2 are enough for me to wash & rotate. I also bouhg the "singler" to carry my spare mag in. Works great, too!

  • Thanks for the tip! Got me two. Using a small frame single stack 9MM...carries great. Super comfortable. I tried it on when it came in the mail & ended up wearing it for about 16 hours that day! It is HOT summer here, so this is a nice alternative for the weekend days when I'm in shorts. 2 is enough for me to wash & rotate. I also got the "Singler" from DalTechForce to carry my spare mag in. Works great, too!

  • Any larger guys out there try this?

I've found them in a 3XL, but I don't want to buy it without knowing if it works well with big dudes.

  • will it hold my full size 1911?

  • @Danil1911 The 1911 Framed pistols will fit. The butt of the pistol might print in certain positions. It would also depend on your size. It wouldn't be any more than a shoulder rig.

  • this may sound stupid but i live in Georgia i have my ccw permit, and i carry on a regualr basis, I prefer to conceal my weapon to avoid awkward moments with people staring and such but do i legally have to conceal it to carry it??? I've read the rules about having a ccw but I get lost in all the legal terminology to where i don't fully understand exactly where i can and cannot carry and how to and how not to carry my weapon, nice video i like the shirt idea.

  • hey what do u mean by printing do u mean not leaving finger prints on anything ?

  • @sillypotato9067 It means not showing the lines of the firearm. If you have a pistol in a holster and bend over, the lines can show easily. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks~

  • @sootch00 oh ok cool thanks for the quick response keep up the great vids

  • you in good shape)))

  • I mentioned your name when I ordered my tee shirt. If I like it, I'll order a couple more.

    Ed

ps. you might enjoy my flying video's

  • What about....a XD45 4" service? would this shirt keep it holstered without it falling out?

  • @tminies9 yes if it is a Really Puny Gun :)

  • i have seen them before for much cheaper in short sleve.

  • @slfimprovement That could become an issue for EDC. Being sleeve-less helps but even then... I wear mine only when I'm going light. I persoanlly use it as one of my options. Of course you could pick up another one or two and wash on off days.

    Thanks for the comment~

  • @Sootch00 Another great informative video. Think I'll buy the concealment T-shirt, it's something that would be right for me when it comes to concealing a firearm in the summertime.

  • Another great review Sootch. Keep them coming!

  • Looks like a good system...I'd like to see the same thing in a "wife beater" style...might be cooler during really hot days. Also, gotta respect I guy that is dedicated to ccw enough to pack in church.

  • Awesome review great product. I think my state is the only one without ccw. When the time comes this will be a product I will buy.

  • How is the sizing? If I buy an XL does it fit just like a regular XL t-shirt or do they tend to fit a little tighter than their stated size?

  • Love the review Sootch.

    Maybe one day my friend!

  • Nice review Sootch.

I wish I could wear one.., but I live in Libie Europe:( .

Love to put my ppk there.

  • Very nice presentation sootch. Always enjoy your videos!

  • @tminies9 sure... they have a Patriot Missile version too

  • i've been using the 5.11 holster shirt for almost a year and love it. EDC is a glock 26, i switch it up if i need bear protection to a glock 20. and the shirt can hold an extra mag. nice vid sootch00.

    ~Zack

  • @novusparkour So when did you get your "conceals" weapons permit? Lol! Learn to spell Moron.

  • @sootch00 LOL somewhere a village is missing it's idiot :)

  • @novusparkour why blamen the 'rednecks'?? You consider yourself a better person or what? Stupid rmk

  • @robin6512 i mean blame.....

  • @novusparkour go to hell fag. The "real world" any person with a legal permit can do this! Not just redneck, which i'm prob considered, ccw's. obviously your on the wrong website if you feel this way. therefor this redneck being twice as smart as you

  • @novusparkour As a matter of fact, it DOES. We rednecks with guns are the best thing that EVER happened to this nation.

  • @novusparkour .....i like how you mispelled Concealed, AND Novice....(you mispelled the first part of your username. good job!)

  • will it hold a glock 26 or something comparable secure to your side?

  • @arbshaw73 A Glock 26 would be perfect for this shirt. Thanks~

  • i wish i could do that. good old NJ doesn't allow Concealed Carry. im moving back to PA as soon as i have the means

  • i really love your reviews! I gotta say, there the best on YouTube.

  • @chordize Thank you : )

  • I just bought an LCP for the hotter months and I think this will work nicely. Thanks for the review.

  • Very interesting product ... if they shipped internationally lol

  • nice review!!!

  • Thanks for another informative video. Looks like a good, high value product. I'm still trying to find cc options that I'm comfortable with... I really like videos like this.

  • The only concern I have seen with the use of these is corrosion concerns. If your gun doesn't have a quality finish, the use of these shirts could rust your gun. I have seen some blued guns rust after being in one of these after only a day of wear. Keep in mind your stuffing a gun in your armpit with nothing but material protecting it. An actual shoulder holster of decent quality material might be a better option... just some thoughts.

  • @KCWes ...of course your mileage may vary... some people don't have "toxic" sweat... some people have an awesome durable finish on their gun.

  • I thought you weren't allowed guns in church?

  • @xboxrulez12 Oh Yes, if your church allows it. We have a security team. There are a lot of shootings at church unfortunately..

  • In some states the gun must be in a holster even when pocket carrying. When carrying a gun in this product's "holster," I would guess that legally it would not be considered a holster, but a pocket, so you'd have to attach a holster to it somehow to hold the gun in. I could be wrong though.

  • I wonder what it looks like after itrs washed a few times?

  • @kramnuko The Concealment T-Shirt is Pre-Shrunk according to the label. so it should hold up well. Thanks~ .

  • Great review man. I just got my carry license here in WV and I use an under the belt front carry holster. I almost always go with jeans so it's the best system for me. Plus the gun itself is more medium frame (PT940 Stainless). It does not print hardly at all in my experience, even sitting. I'd have a Glock to cut weight but I tend to trust a SA/DA hammer system more when it's stuffed in my pants. Now if Glock just had a hammer (non striker) version. Striker fire seems the 'in' thing now though.

  • Shouldn't you be playing some of that 70's porn music when you are undoing your shirt? Maybe something to think about when you edit your vids :-D

  • @uflnuceng Lol! I wouldn't want all the female subs to go into a frenzy! : )

  • Great idea, thank you for sharing.

  • What a great product! Off topic somewhat - are you a Martial Arts Instructor?

  • @kiwitedferny Thanks~ No, I'm not an instructor but have studied martial arts off and on for over 20 years.

  • I invite you to use the term "discreet carry"

"Concealed carry" is the term the government prefers and implies you have something to hide~Alan Korwin

One thing I make a point of when discussing discreet carry is the fact that traditionally, and as a doctrine of law, tyrants would like us to forget we have a right to exercise our rights PRIVATELY. Being forced to carry openly if we carry at all is not only a violation of our right to bear arms, it is a violation of our right to privacy~Don Kline

  • @watcher8o I agree 100%. The right of Self defense is universal. No one has the legal authority to restrict that right.

  • @watcher8o Right on! I do agree that "discreet carry" is a more appropriate term, although now it sounds like you're doing something that's sexually naughty ;) Oh well.

  • thanks sootch00 il buy a a t-shirt holster and a Galco thanks agan so much GOD bless

  • Great review Sootch looks like a good product. What make was the small semi auto you put into the pocket holster looked like a 1911 but a lot smaller.

  • @bigjim379 It is a Colt Mustang. No longer made by Colt but Sig makes a licensed copy, the Model 238. Great pistol. Thanks my friend~

  • Thanks man, that was some great info!

    God bless the Republic.

  • Hey Sootch! I appreciate the time and energy. Cool video! Nice 1911.

  • /sigh.... Went to the website, but it seems that they are prejudiced towards lefties. =(

  • Sweet. They even carry them in big dude sizes. I might have to check one of these out!

I've been trying to find a way to conceal carry as a dude my size...and a lot of options are tough for me to pull off.

  • Thanks. I have wondering about the comfort of these shirts for some time now and I think I'm going to give it a try. Thumbs up.

  • nice

  • fgffffff

  • hi sootch00 can i use this t-shirt holster w/ my 1911 45? also wana ask wats the best holster for a 1911 tnxss

  • @tuliman1000 The website states that it will accept a 1911 pistol. I have mine put away so I haven't tested them, but the Glock 30 fit without a hitch and it's much bigger. There are a lot of holsters for the 1911. Most of mine are custom rigs, but most of your well known names like Galco and Bianchi would serve you well. Thanks~

  • Travis haley from magpul taught me a Good tip for a shoulder holster or a tshrit holster like this. Just leave one button open on a button up shirt so you don't have to un button one when you need to draw that weapon fast. It works real well.

  • interesting. Be safe out there.

  • I like it.

  • Great video Don! Lots of great info on concealed carry. You rock dude!

  • Would you recommend this for all year long carry for a guy like me that is in a wheelchair?

  • @Mr1911guy I think it's perfect for use in a wheelchair and would use this shirt holster anytime. I wish you the best, my friend~

  • Hey sootch, you demonstrated the concealment t-shirt with that subcompact and the snub-nose, how does it hold up to that compact Glock?

  • @jhawkdude The Glock M30 fits into the Shirt easily but the but could print if you're not careful and would wear on the shirt faster. A model 28/27 sub compact would be perfect. Thanks!

  • Great Video. I am a fairly big guy, I've always been 'barrel chested'. I own a galco classic light shoulder holster for my Sig Sauer P232, (another of your video recommendations.). Due to my size, the shoulder holster prints no matter what I wear. I will try this shirt and see what happens. Thanks.

  • you are the man

  • u need thunderwear it is a holster

  • Ordered during your video. For those that prefer going through PayPal, they use this payment method. Only thing I didn't like was the postage. I couldn't change the method and it was pretty pricey. Still, looking forward to getting this shirt.

I let them know sootch sent me ;)

    Peace

  • Father Day Gift .

    Excellent info, thanks!

  • I think I would buy a shoulder holster before I bought one of those shirts.

  • Thanks a ton for the review, I have been looking at getting one of these but haven't gotten any feedback from anyone on how well they work.

  • Sootch, another great video with some great recommendations!

  • it just sucks you have to buy 3 or more unless you want to wash it all the time!!!!

  • I think I may pick one of these up. Great vid!

  • Great review! Something new for the collection.

  • Nice option, I guess the only problem with that system is that you need to buy a couple of those shirts if you want to carry this way all the time.

Depending on the time it needs to dry after you washed it maybe you need like three of them to carry seven days a week.

  • Looks like a great option. Thanks!

  • Thanks for this review Don. I've been wanting to try one of these because I think it's a perfect holster for summer. Great review. How much are they generally?

  • Thanx comrade. This is something that I was not aware of. I think that I will give it a try.

  • damn nice review man,

  • that nice i plan to get one pretty soon i like having multiple way to conceal carry. and that is a great price.

  • Do you think the 100% cotton ones are better than the compression style? I saw on in a catalog that was an under armor style shirt BUT and this is a big but... it was 75 bucks. A little pricey i think

  • @biggin2155 The Under Armor shirts are high quality for sure and the price shows. I decided to go with the cotton.

  • Quick question, how secure is that elastic band? like will it let your gun slip out as you bend over, or what if you run with it on will it fall out?

  • that is very nice. i tried on a shirt like that at my local gunshow and goinng to get at least 2 next month when show is back in town! But my quesstion is it considered "open cary or concealed cary" if you just wear the shirt itself and can somewhat see the firearm?

  • Another Great Vid Sootch. I was curious if you could point out the sizing ratio? Is this shirt 100% cotton? Is it pre-shrunk or do you think we should get a larger size. I vary in sizes depending on whether its pre-shrunk or not. Thanks and keep up the awesome work my friend.

  • @heat764 Hey Heat, It is 100% cotton and pre-shrunk. I wear a large and this shirt is large. The website says to order according to the size you wear . Sizes go from sm to 3XL. It also comes in Black. Thanks~

  • cool. I like that.

  • neat

  • I'm liking that. I have been looking into getting a smaller auto besides my Beretta 21a to wear during the summer, but the one I currently have (Taurus PT111 MillPro) would probably ride nice in one of these. That doesn't mean that I won't buy another pistol anyway though lol, Thanks for the review.

  • That is a neat idea. I have seen this in a jacket of course, but a tshirt is pretty cool idea. hmmmm

  • cool
