Seriously, given what I've alluded to below, I would ask that you directly comment on the overall message of the BBC's piece in which you feature, on film. However that would slam the piece, and necessitate considerable re-writing; Otherwise, ask to have interviews withdrawn, make a statement, and broadcast widely. Your contributions are good, but the spiritless message sick evolutionary/socio-conditioning theory, carrying falsity as assumption which feminism uses to hurt children and fathers.
Basically, a father's joy, by today's standards concealed from cameras, was known, experienced by father, mother and child. Demonstrations of intimacy, joy for the camera, don't go far, are stereotypical and may be mock.... rather shallow stop-start experience for the child.
Most men were like that - not wanna be politicians, 'managers', singers; had a vision to be so, because work was a responsible and skilled, for the community. They also quietly played a role as singers, in politics etc...
I think, traditional fathers, once understood and accepted, dovetailed into necessarily steady approach to skilled craftmanship at work that lasted through the day. Examination of early photographs shows fathers quietly loving in constructive leadership, leading with safety and skill, not merely demonstratively kissing children in 'quality time'; just like foremen; Serious. A lifestyle lost to wham bam methodology, factory supplies, nasty unsustainable alternatives and pricey 'entertainment'.
I apprecite your wok overall, but get a little sickened with the message here, which falls flat, to me; i.e man recently suddenly evolved as a father, to be more intimate, (led by the chattering classes no doubt)
'the new father was....'more intimate..': this constantly asserted and is primarily a media assertion, with a change in focus suddenly to men as father. It's utter rubbish, and relies on media-led social conditioning for its truth, where it exists.

the courts don't care ,they are no longer a " JUSTICE " system ,it has been replaced by a monetary system ,also the police are not "peacemen" ,they are a corporate policy enforcement division ,of the white collar thieves ,my heart goes out to fathers that cant see there children , ..good luck :)
I am liking the fathers 4 justice as it seems to really want to promote true equality. I am a new father and I hope provided the resources that I may one day be able to contribute to the cause. A father is considered 50% responsible, yet the system refuses to grant 50/50 equal rights. I only hope the group gets a bit more organized.

The father is the head of all the household. It's just common sense, yet this flies in the face of politically correct feminists.
