@H75119847 Nice dude. I did have a go on the 24-70mm and I felt in love with it, It's a really good all around lens. But I heard that in the early models the focus can go a bit soft after used it for a while, just watch out for that. Im hoping to upgrade from a 7d to a full frame dslr ( 5d mk3 finger cross) and if canon bring out 24-70mm mk2 (with image stabilizer toes cross) that would a perfect combination. Yeah I know, I have to keep telling myself to wake up :)

@H75119847 I did get a kit lens with the 7d but I sold it and got my self a 50mm 1.8. @ClankyRochet i have the 50 1.8 and the 1.4 and i can tell you that the 1.4 really is shit compared to the 1.8.. may seem strange but the 1.4 is awful wide open and even at f/8 isn't reall sharp.. it has loads of chromatic aberration and can't lock focus in low light... i think i will buy a 35 f/2 since it's cheap and my experiences with cheap lenses are fantastic ahah... happy shooting to you!

@HRHRobertRobert5 18mp isn't low resolution. You're complaining about it being "low resolution" and very expensive. You can't complain about the price of it and lower MP. The more MP they put into the sensor will only drive the price up more. quick note - only 12 fps as the mirror (at least in the no lens mounted section) is not in lock-up mode... 14 fps is only avail in mirror lock up mode.
I was thinking... Why is there the need for that mirror to drop down every time if the guy holds the button for photo spray? It just breaks the thing.
that covers the compact flash door, my guess is that they didn't want anyone slipping their own in and taking some shots and doing a "preview review" of the camera.

Yikes look at the mirror go in that thing. Any idea on how many photos you can actually take with it before it'll die? Also wouldn't you end up with some pretty severe shake from the mirror? Canon doesn't offer any sort of in-body stabilisation, do they?
@Lineypi the camera is rated for 400,000 actuations before it needs to be serviced because of the carbon fibre shutter technology, also the shutter is very light and it flicking back and forth, even 14 times a second isnt going to cause any significant camera shake on a camera that weighs as much as this beats does
Stop being so paranoid. No matter what dust will always find a way to enter your camera. It's something you can't avoid. Just give it a clean every so often and it'll be fine.

Two of our cameras' doors are broken.
Also, one has an intermittent shutter button, which is defective.
Shutter rated is useless if Shutter Button gone south.
Those & ERR 99 are very common problems.

Yikes look at the mirror go in that thing. Any idea on how many photos you can actually take with it before it'll die? Also wouldn't you end up with some pretty severe shake from the mirror? Canon doesn't offer any sort of in-body stabilisation, do they?

@Lineypi the camera is rated for 400,000 actuations before it needs to be serviced because of the carbon fibre shutter technology, also the shutter is very light and it flicking back and forth, even 14 times a second isnt going to cause any significant camera shake on a camera that weighs as much as this beats does

Stop being so paranoid. No matter what dust will always find a way to enter your camera. It's something you can't avoid. Just give it a clean every so often and it'll be fine.
