Near the end of their set, Palmer's people told them they had time to play one more song, so they played an extra-long version of 'A Forest'. After they were done, Simon went up to the microphone and shouted, "F**k Robert Palmer, f**k rock 'n' roll!" Shortly after that, Palmer's people dumped The Cure's gear off the back of the stage.
