He's a visonary, but I hope he doesn't use so much handheld footage if he does make Halo. I saw Borne Ultimatum and all the 'swoopy' angles made me ill. Blomkamp has and awesome super realism to his credit, but please consider the audience too!

DUDES, This the special effects and the sound effects do not match up. Well if you watch it at least 2-3 times where the action shooting parts are at (2:30), you will notice that when it shoots You will hear the gun sound 2-4 secs later. Hope you guys get what i'm saying. He is also going to direct a movie based on a game halo, i'm not sure if he will make it great. I hope he will work on the sound effects and the special effects more.

Well, that is not the directors fault.

It's boetie SA's fault or whoever compressed and loaded the video. The delay is not in the original film. In fact look at Yellow [this is actually Yellow] it has a bit better quality.

Not bad, but his editing needs work, theres not much sense of flow through the shots, Alive in Joburg was pretty good, and hes good at working with effects, but his short movies dont flow very well. even the action shots arent shot and edited well enough where you get a sense of where things are etc. Still it would be interesting to see what he can do with a big budget.
