no disrespect, but i gotta say, your completely wrong about the stock ipod/iphone earphones. they actually have pretty heavy bass for stock earPHONES. theyre even better than some earBUDS. even with the bass aside, they have somewhat good sound quality.

Ya just a tip don't buy Sony headphones(the $9:00 ones)they are crap three of my friends had them and they all say there is always a hissing sound coming from them

No, this is a Y style not asymmetrical so both are equal length. If your iPod uses the iPhone 3g mic features then this one will work too.

Dude, that bites. Those are spendy too, well I don't know personally how they compare, but other sites have rated the Radius above V-moda so you may want to check them out.

the apples have sick bass if you put the part where the sound comes out pointed down into your ear and push them against your ear

Sounds a little painful. Trust me these headphones are 10 times better than the Apple ear buds. If you think that bass is good with the Apple ones, the Radius will blow you away.
