Tori debut this song for my daughter and I the night of this taping. (Minneapolis 09). After recording this at the current we talked to her and she told us she would be playing Ophelia for us that night. I will never forget it and I still can't get over the emotion in this video. Thank you with all my heart for posting this video, I treasure it like you would never imagine! @TorisOphelia That's really amazing, I think I read your review of the show and it was touching. :) The day before, in Milwaukee, I had a really emotional conversation with Tori, and at the end of it (after seeing the Ophelia request on her hand) I agreed with her advice to me by saying I would "break the chain." I was really glad she played it the next night even though I couldn't be there.

It's an unbelievable song for those of us that are 'living it'! I know the strength those words give to me and my daughter and realize there are many others who get the same support. I think it's wonderful that we are able to give Tori the feedback on how the songs are connecting with us, and connecting us together. I wish you well and hope you are breaking some chains as that night helped my dauther and I break some!  If you're going through what we are, "I feel you"...

There are some new songs, such as this, that are written like her older ones. With complicated cryptic lyrics. They are such gems.

And a lot of the songs on AATS are so much better solo.

Wow, what a performance! Always amazing! Was it early in the morning though? Her voice almost sounds like she just woke up. Maybe that's why it's in a lower key? Anyway, though, it doesn't take away from the awesome job she did.
