  • What about all that loose netting when the bale is half eaten? Do the horses get their feet tangled? What about if they are shod?

  • @follepourchevaux We do not suggest you use the nets with shod horses unless they are placed inside an old water trough or something. The excess nett does not get tangled around the horses legs, as it is a slippery nylon netting, and the holes are less than 2 inches square. As the bale gets eaten, the net just deflates like a balloon, and the horse will toss it around trying to get every shred of hay out of it.
