  • Love your guys perch videos! Would love to see more of them! :b

  • @AvadaKhedavra Thank you!

  • good vid mate and nice catch!

  • alex and carl have u got any more tips with perch and roach fishing because im going fishing tomor for perch and raoch and it will be my first vid on youtube and realy nice perch carl !!!!!!!

  • @fishingFUN496 Hi! Our tips would be to keep loose feeding maggots nice and accurate around your float. In this colder weather make sure you have your hookbait presented either just off bottom or just touching the bottom. Shot your float down nicely so that the tip is only just visible and strike soon after it goes under. Also have a bulk of shot about a foot and a half away from the hook to get it down to the bigger perch roach near the bottom. :) good luck!!!!!!

  • if you want a big perch try large lob worm or small livebait :D welldone carl

  • @RYANsilkieSMYTH Thanks for that mate, glad you liked it :)

  • Stunning Perch Carl mate well in... love your reaction when you slipped the net under him lolol Good Man

  • @dipstizel ahah, I was so happy!! Thanks :)

  • @TheMinibadger Silly things like treading on sections, not putting sections completely on, dropping sections. We should be more careful really!

  • @TheMinibadger It is about average for a 7m pole, but it is very very strong. We have never broken sections, unlike our 12m pole. And it is a little heavyer than our 12m pole at 7m but it is way stronger.

  • @TheMinibadger Brilliant to use all the way up to 10m but past there I struggled to hold it comfortably. Also I managed to break quite a few sections. So now I just use my little 7m Middy margin pole! I cant break it. !

  • Hey mate, just subscribed. Been reading the articles as well. Fantastic fish mate, haven't caught a decent sized perch in a long time, would love to get one. Love the videos, keep 'em coming. Tight lines.

  • @DUanglingsociety Thanks for subscribing, and im glad some people are enjoying our website articles :) Let us know when you get a nice perch as we would love to see it! Whats your PB at the moment?

  • @HookedOnFishing000 Well to tell you the truth, the perch PB is non-existent as I have only just started keeping records. I occasionally get them when bagging up, but we're talking nothing bigger than 4oz. When I was much younger (20 now), my father and I went fishing on the Thames near Richmond and had a Perch out about 1 - 1.5lbs, but haven't had anything substantial since then.

  • brilliant perch oi got one the other day weighed 3lb 6oz and it was also on a single maggot!

  • @TheJrFishingShow it's funny how so many big perch are caught on single maggot! Well done!

  • what elastic where you using then?

  • @SouthCerneyFisherman a 6 elastic. I felt a little under gunned however, when I was fighting the Perch!

  • gd one mate

    Tight lines

    Dips

  • @dipstizel thanks mate! glad you liked it!

  • when elasticating your pole put the elastic through your top 2 sections you will find alot easier to land the fish

  • cracking perch there mate!

i went the other day just fishing for perch and the average was a pound and a half and biggest was 2lb 9 oz :)

  • @TakeTheBaitCarp well done! glad u like the perch! it was a difficult one to catch! well done on those perch! they are one of my fav types of fish! they are lovely!

  • @HookedOnFishing000 yeah they are alright but the little ones can be annoying at times!

have you got any suggestions on how to get more subs because i think that i deserve more :/?

  • @TakeTheBaitCarp hi mate, i would recomend making videos as often as possible. Try and get out once a week if it possible. that way more videos are spread around youtube, and more people are likely to find the videos! also spent as much time as possible editing the videos. as people like good quality editing.

also give all your videos very different names. so that is someone seaches, how to catch carp, your video comes up, and if someone seaches perch fishing, yours comes up.

    Good luck!

  • well done carl cracking fish, i just got back from a 24hr stint my self well done on the perch mate, what a cracker!
