What a DANGEROUS, destructive, deceitful piece of advice--sadly, it's a common thing to hear, if you're a guy. I don't hear any guys saying that they have seen it to be even close to accurate.
In all fairness, Julie (the first girl) does sound like a good one.
Tom is being a bit hard on her. She shouldn't have had two children, but other than that, she sounds damn near perfect. If all she wants is a door opened and she pays half of everything, does all the house work, she's not argumentative (at least from what I can see), AND she signed a pre-nup, then I'd be WAY more than happy to oblige.
Ladies, I have never met a feminist that believed in equality in terms of 50/50 contribution to keeping a relationship hot and heavy. They believe in the 90/10 rule. The man is to initiate 90% of the romance and sexual advances and that they (the feminists) reserve the right to tell a man NO 90% of the time.

As much as I respect Tom Leykis and sympathize with men´s gripes-which are generally very legitimate-in this segment Tom is beginning to sound a bit like a male version of a feminist: ie men are always right. This woman who calls has a point according to Tom´s logic of equality. At first he cannot respond and then he puts the blame on her for not being more business like in the relationship. She sounds really nice (a rare quality) so blaming her is like blaming nice guys for getting had.
Umm...hate to break this to ya, but Tom admitted in the first 2 segments of this show that he is an admitted 100% feminist. Maybe you should have listened for when he said that.

I agree. Feminism had legit purpose @ 1 time. Widows, especially those with children needed some sort of economic opportunity to defend themselves, especially in a society that gives only half-hearted attention @ best to social services to prevent people from falling into inhumane destitution. I get that.
Now, it seems that feminism has perverted beyond that original good intention in a monster where women only use it for a greedy negative advantage. That to me is a major FAIL.
@kaunas88 aye, agreed on that. Then again, he kinda has to stick to his shtick of the show, so he kinda has to stay in character. Also, keep in mind that the woman can claim whatever she wants to, it doesn't mean it has to be true.

Tom should have asked her if her husband earns more money.
If we have a joint account and I earn 75k and my wife earns 30k, she cannot claim to be paying half. It's not possible.
I would be willing to bet my life that her husband earns much more that she does.
