I am very excited for you and would like to share one bit of advice that I've learned:
Once saved, I mistakenly thought I had crossed the finish line. Truth had been found, eternity was now my destination. But I've since discovered that its only the starting line. Before I was just meandering around lost. If you ready yourself for this to be a process and a long journey, I think that will serve you well! Glad to have you as a brother!
Matthew 6:31-34 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
