oh so very nice..my most fave song when i was teener and even until now that am goldenwoman..nicely played oh sooo very nice..i feel emotional yes soo inlove tnx much
What a fantastic clip!! I love these guys...irresistible stuff for me, especially hearing (& seeing!) the whole arrangement done live, like this. I work in a band w/ another keyboardist; this makes me want to email him & suggest that we should put together a F.& T. tribute...inspiring, obviously!
I am sad to report that Arthur Ferrante died on September 19, 2009 at his home in Longboat Key, Florida. He was 88. He will be missed, but his legacy lives on through his music along with partner, Louis Teicher
@Ferrante109 Yes it will! My family owned two of their LPs when I was a child. They were a huge influence on my musical growth. So yes, these men live on. I hope they are not lost on my generation.
SO beautiful and moving! I am glad my parents raised me to appreciate good music in lieu of r&r in the sixties. Hopefully history will repeat itself and return to musical sanity. I hope.
I heard F/T music way bak in d 70s, during my elementary yrs, my mom always play their music, wev learned to appreciate thru d yrs.. d 40s, 50s, 60s 70s n 80s - they wer such grand grand yrs of beautiful classy immortal music...
First time I ever heard these guys perform was on a flight from Pittsburgh to San Diego Calif in Oct 1979..(I was 18 years old). Been a huge fan since that day. The pianos talk when they play. Their music, their style.... Ferrante and Teicher... Truly OUTSTANDING... NUFF SAID!!!
I remember singing this song for my uncles, father and friends. I still have a great voice and I hope-- to one day sing @ CArnegie Hall or the Kennedy Center.
This is great! Ferrante and Teicher was my first inspiration for wanting to take up the piano. Is this an Ed Sullivan clip, because the conductor looked like Ray Bloch, Ed's longtime musical director.
Wow, Thanks, Scott!!!! More F&T, please!! I love this video, and watch it over and over again! I love watching the conductor too! He moves like he is dancing, especially at the end nears. Check it out! Your buddy, Mark!
Thanks for the clip. A great theme from a great film. This is my favorite F & T music.

They were brilliant. I say "were" because Lou Teicher recently passed away on Aug 3. They stopped playing as a duo in 1989.
