it is easy to nerf it. decrease the armor and hp so that its no more than 500. that way promote gives ur minion 100 extra hp and some ad.

@1337VG Did you even read the comment I was referring to? 100 extra hp on a minion is just bad. You want a crappy skill to push? Take heal, it will heal more than 100hp on the minion. Take rally, it will help with the damage output when taking a tower down. The whole point of the original promote was being capable of pushing the lane whether the enemy is dead or not, if the opposing team is dead you don't need a fucking summoner spell to push.

@Declipseful Well i'm saying you could, if the spell minion had enough health, but it wouldn't be wise. IMO. The original promote was broken because super minion hp so early on was unstoppable. Hence the taking out it's defense and health but still allowing it to deal out some damage.

the remove that long time ago. This trick don`t work anymore. We use that to sinds close beta afther the remove promote. WE use to solo baron at start "the old map with grass next to baron now the now that so the remove the grass. No we use something els to solo baron at start till today it works :) great to use glitch in game.

It was neccessary to remove promote, you cant nerf it enough, that you can´t rush within the first 5 minutes to the inhibitor. Thats why they removed it. You dont even need templay or be a good team.. just take 4-5 x promote go mid and rush -.- yeah kool really skilled...

Not at all. The problem was when 5 players with promote used it all at the same time and instead of a single supper minion you got a 5 man squad supper minion wave.

They then popped rally in turns to help take down the tower while alistair and taric keep or another healer heals the supper minions. Since they have so much hp and the tower does little dmg to them you can easily push a lot with this trick. If they die just wait the cd and repeat.

That is the definition of Overpowered. It was an imbalanced spell that wont be missed. It was the core of a lot of cheesy tactics and didn't take any skill to use. It's no wonder they removed it.
