Hey Guys, like millions I aklso was tricked into buying an HP printer--- several of them. None of them have been able to print more than a a few test copies--- BEFORE RUNNING OUT OF INK. I buy HP ink---and it shows NO INK. I buy more Super size HP ink---still they dont work- Ink is outdated within DAYS.

Solution-- I bought a Konica-Minolta Magicolor 1690 MF that DOES IT ALL--fast high quality prints, scans, faxes, copies for $200. 2,000 pages FREE COLOR laser printer.

from what weve heard better to destroy the vista , get windows 7 , where we are , vista is shite , were not in north korea by the way . All the best

bought this printer about 5 years ago and its not officially supported on vista and windows 7. Had to manually do a work-around and it now works very slow and can only be used for basic function. I will NEVER buy another HP printer. HP is horribly mistaken if they expect me to buy a new HP printer that won't work when a new OS comes out.. Terrible business practice by HP.

no its not that machine has too many design flaws and it usually fails it basiclly falls apart on its own accord, this model is a laserjet 1010 i think and its basiclly junk, i think it does support vista.

use a laserjet 4 printer much more simple and works better.

my moms hp printer froze 3 of our computers!! hp software reeks!!! my step dad spent over 15 hours with their dumb tech support, and the only thing they can come up with was to turn it on and turn it off!!! WASTED!!
