Great shot - 1 in a million! As the arrow leaves the bow, the high-speed camera makes it possible to see that the arrow "shudders" as it flies. And when the camera is behind the arrow you can also see the imperfect rotation. It was an amazing shot, but even with a perfect aim it took some luck for that imperfect arrow to smack that other arrow at just the right point in its rotation and shuddering. Truly 1 in a million. So glad it was filmed and posted.

Actually Mythbusters busted the normal arrows. Therefor it is impossible to do it with wooden arrows.

This arrow is specially made for that purpose tho. If you didn't notice, it has a hole there to allow the arrow continue it's route. If mythbusters used those arrows too, they would succeed.

To keep it short, that Asian guy did some kick ass stuff with that arrow :P

It impossible to make such shot with wooden arrows, because those arrows never fly straight. Therefor when an arrow hits another arrow, it won't make a complete cut to it, unless the arrow has a hole inside it.

Pretty amazing (if you turn the awful music off) but He's using all the modern equipment. I want to see these guys (or girls) do this without the carbon fiber, counter weighted bow and sans the wrist and shoulder gear. Use a Yew wood bow and wooden arrows. THEN we will see whats what. In this spirit, Id like to see all runners go barefoot, tennis players use wooden rackets and fencers forgo the use of pads and masks...errr, maybe not that last one.

It is true, though I'm sure he didn't do it on the first shot.. In archery world its called the Robbin Hood, for obvious reasons, I've seen several happen personaly at competitions, but never got one myself. An american named Byron Ferguson does it too, look him up.

this is not fake. i've done it heaps, and its not staged. the arrow in the target has no nock in it, its been removed to allow the arrow to travel into it, if there was a nock it would most likely glance off, and the aluminium nocking pin would also not allow the arrow in. the first arrow is put there, obviously, as it has no nock.

Ive ruined hundreds of arrows by hitting them with another arrow and I've shafted dozens like in the video, and Im only a novice archer.

This guy is a professional tournament archer. Probably makes a living shooting. His bow and equipment are state of the art and worth thousands. The video is totally believable.
