  • dont know why i love fountain pens since childhood...

  • great collection

  • When you've got a pen in your hand you just can't do wrong.

  • Great video. Vintage pens are great. I hardly use anything else.

  • I am just starting to purchase fountain pens, I am waiting to receive my first one in the mail. This video is very inspiring.

  • Congrats! for your art, im in love with fountains, i recently came back to use them. So i bought one Faber Castell E-Motion and want try ink draws

  • what song is this? I Like it

  • @buelna24 Neon Bible by Arcade Fire.

  • yes. I've heard about this. Vintage pens able to write in copperplate or similar script. very flexible.

  • I wish i could write like that.....

  • Practice makes perfect :)

  • can someonw please tell me the name of the pen which was used for the writing at 0:40? That would be a great help =)

  • It's a vintage Wahl #5 pen. :)

  • thank you very much =)

now I have to find it somewhere to buy. do you remember or know how much I have to calculate with?

and one more thing, what do you think of the waterman 52 rrhr? is that also good?

I hope I am not asking too many questions^^"

  • 1920s right? I have a few gold Wahl pens like that (three, in fact).

Aren't they just amazing writers & lookers?

  • @leighpod What does the "#5" stand for? I have a Wahl #3 that looks exactly the same. Could you explain the difference, please?

  • @imhosaibabaischeatin Wahl (and other pen companies) numbered their nibs by size. I know of Wahl 0 to Wahl 5. The 5 is both a larger nib and pen compared to the 3. :D

  • @leighpod thx for explaining! Hope you don't mind a follow up? Is a bigger nib also more flexible or do they have the same writing characteristics?

  • It wouldn't be the type of pen, it would be what they call the "nib". Its the metal piece at the end of the pen.

  • The Omas Milor Arco is the most beautiful pen.

  • whats the one on 0:27 i love it an i want it can u tell me were to find it an how much does it cost

  • That one is a Visconti Skeleton. Just do a google search for online retailers. :)

  • Wonderful video, Leigh. Which is the one with the oriental lady on it (the maki-e pen)?

  • It's from the Namiki Nippon Art series. I think it's called "Vidro." :)

  • Beautifully done!

  • Beautifully done!

  • That's the Pilot Justus! It's not an overfeed, per se, more like an adjustment bar that makes the nib softer or harder, similar to the adjustable Eversharp nib.

  • I love the blend of music and pens that you are presenting. What is the pens at 0:51 with the metallic overfeed?
