This song was in the scene in the movie Comin Home when Bruce Dern shed his dress blue Marine uniform and walked into the ocean and drown himself after "coming home" from Vietnam mentally ruined, while at the same time Jon Voight was speaking to young students as a wounded parapalegic Vietnam veteran who had bought the war and "valor" hook, line and sinker and he was telling them that it ain't worth killing other humans for any DAMN reason and that the soldier rah rah was BULLSHIT!

I will always remember him forever, I was born in Cambridge, Mass in '49 I don't know where he was born but it doesn't really matter.
