Well rides in rct3 commonly use the offical rct3 modlaing tool and usualy a 3d engine, I forget what one i haven't made a custom part in a LONG time! :P

if you have problems with custom flat rides, make sure you have shadows turned off in the options menu

Well, I have them and they work fine for me, so I'll try to help you.

The readme says there is a folder called custom. Check to make sure you have this directory: "C:/Program Files/Atari/Roller Coaster Tycoon 3/Style/Custom". If not, copy the "Custom" folder in the Hopper rides download folder and paste it into "C:/Program Files/Atari/Roller Coaster Tycoon 3/Style" and then it should work. If you have a custom folder, navigate into the Custom folder in the downloaded file and it says...

..."ImagineerJohn". Be sure you don't have a folder in your Style/Custom directory called ImagineerJohn, then paste this into Style/Custom. If you DO have ImagineerJohn already there, (like from the HeaveHo ride), navigate yet again into the downloaded ImagineerJohn folder. There are 3 rides: Hopper, Spring Ride, and Spring RideV2X. Copy these 3 and paste them into the ImagineerJohn folder.

This should work. Whenever you get new CFRs, you need to...

...do the following if it is a new creator:

If the creator is new, paste the folder bearing the creator's name and the contents of the ride in it into Style/Custom. If it is a ride from a creator you already have, go into the creator's folder and copy the ride folder into Style/Custom/*Mennoo*. (Mennoo being an example).

Please ask if I need to explain anything more clearly. I hope this helps you get your rides working.

This goes to anyone who needs help:

After downloading a CFR, unzip the folder and go into it. There is a custom folder. If you don't have a Custom folder in your Style directory, copy this and paste it into Style. If you have it, enter the folder and it will have the name of whoever made the ride. Copy this and paste into your Style/Custom folder. If you have a ride made by, say, T4L, and get another of his, go into the next folder and copy/paste that. Go into the game and it should work.

Guys , cfr are very difficult to make , from what I hear , I'm looking into making em but don't get your hopes up .

To install them , you make a folder call " custom " in the Style folder , not the style themed folder , if you download imaginers spring hopper rides , it will tell you were to put it .
