We can thank microsoft for keeping the halo name alive and moving it forward for another 10 years. its a cashcow for microsoft they dont want halo to die just yet. also remember this, 343 has been working on halo games since 2003 with bungie, so they know what halo is about. 343 is just a microsoft game studio.

I'm sorry but no other game has this. Halo's a cult icon. Honestly, I can associate the Halo's with time-periods in my life.

Halo 1 - I was young, life was good.

Halo 2 - I was 10ish I believe and my parents divorced.

Halo 3 - I was 13 or 14, the lack of money from the divorce meant no Xbox Live so I never really got to experience the game at all except for LAN.

Halo Reach - My sister becomes a lawyer and helps out the family and life's good again.

It's weird but it's been around my whole 17yrs.
