i dont know where u all get some of ur info i have full pioneer system exept the amp punch 200 4 6/12 2 4x6 2 122s slege hammer box pioneer head unit the head unit does have all kinds of setings but i can have it on 10 and hear it but i chose to go louder....

Especially a Pioneer headunit owner. I know that there are so many settings on Pioneer headunits, that you can put your bass, subwoofer level, and low pass filter all the way up so it knocks like a motherfucker with the volume at a low ass level.
1 thing u shouldn't do is mess with the bass boost.. on the head unit and amp... especially if u got ur gain up where u want it, bass boost is pretty much used 4 "classical music" and such... another thing is when u cut ur gain up i hear u suppose 2 match ur gain with the voltage on ur deck, i can send a layout that may help

yeah, i dont like having to have my volume at 20+ just to be able to hear it, so I had bassbooster at max loudness at max and everything turned up.
