They always say Ryan Leaf, the biggest bust ever, "the Chargers used their number one pick to choose him." Their number one pick... not the overall number one pick. That's probably why Nick was confused.
I don't know why they always say a team's number one, instead of a team's first, or top pick.

errr i always thought Leaf was No. 1 also. Thats why they called him the biggest bust. I was wrong. I guess he cant be the biggest bust cause he wasnt taken no 1 overall. There have been plenty of no 1 draft picks in the past 15 years who have been busts.
