FOTN is one of the best soundtracks ever made in my opinion. It was made so long ago but still sounds so good today. I have a lot of respect for Alan Silvestri because of his great soundtracks! He did this on one of the first digital synthesizers ever made, that thing was huge and i should imagine pretty darn complicated to use!

@y0shi09 Oh it Was! The Synclavier has only 2 Rivals.. The Farlight CMI from australia, & the mighty Synthi 100 which was SO huge.. So Powerful (With 16 Oscs!) it needed a KEY to Turn on the Ignition!

But I Spoke to George S. Clinton the other day Via E-mail to find out how he managed the (Rare & now Lost for ever) Soundtrack to the film "Too Much" or ™ for short. And it was ALSO.. the Synclavier! They are So expensive now. Only 30 Available. I'll post the Link for the ROBOT Track Below :)

@therealKINDLE - You can order a Synclavier system from John at Synhouse. He has a collection of them and builds them to order. It may take him several weeks to get all the parts and put your custom system together, but someone out there still builds them, and they are definitely still used. An awesome synth, even to this day.

With the Rubbish that's made today like these plastic VA Synths, Countless Stage Synths (For Dumb-Ass Rock Artists) & these god AWFUL Emulators; the Synclavier is probably in the Top 5 Synths world wide! You don't hear these amazing Subtle Sounds now. All you hear are these Over Powering Over Compressed Expanded Patches that make for thousands of Insipid Minimalistic Dub-Step Tracks. Oh & POP. Don't get me Started on THAT subject! lol!

This is my favorite song from the movie's soundtrack. Had this playing in my head for years. And looking back at this, this is still a pretty catchy tune to this day. Kind a gives you that sensation that you're on a journey like no other.
