From what I hear, Fletcher has a stranglehold on what is done in the band. What songs go on the albums, won't let Jim play guitar....so what is Jim suppose to do? Mayb the new guy will sound good, but let's face it Jim's intensity and voice will be missed.
Fletcher is the man, Zoli is doing a great job as lead vocals i seen them live in a small bar in Kelowna , BC and it was siiick. So many hardcore PW fans came out, And yeah Jim will be missed but who knows maybe he would go back someday or at least you could say pw is multiplying and we got another great band in the black pacific.

Pennywise is and will always be a great band, they inspired me a lot...but to be honest their music was becoming a bit stale...I'm glad they have a new vocalist, it will shake things up a bit. Jim obviously had other reasons for leaving PW because he has started a new band. End of the day if people aren't happy they must make a change and others need to respect that. I was able to see them play this summer here in Edmonton on the vans warped tour to be honest they fuckn sucked ass. pennywise was amazing last night, even with the new singer, but...hopefully jim will get back into it..bin a true fan for about 15 years and its just not the same...for a band as solid as pennywise....i think he will miss it...........i hope.

Thanks for posting this, I think we were all wondering exactly why Jim the band. I'm happy someone from the band explained what happened. I was shocked to hear about his departure. Jim was an amazing vocalist but I'm happy Pennywise is still continuing.
