i really have no idea how the fuck you made it sound almost descent because your hand stays in pretty much the same spot the entire time. the problem with that is that you miss everything but one note after the 6 strums. doing the strum with a power-chord on 7 and hammer low E on 5 then 7 then roll down to 5th fret on A and repeat.

The guitar is. In fact it is so good that YOU don't deserve it yet. I'm not saying that you're completely horrible. One other thing, learn how to hold a pick correctly. I'm not trying to insult, or make fun of you. Use alternate picking. That will make it a lot easier.
